Let The Previews Begin!!

It is time for another There She Goes release, and today we are previewing the SUPAH cute new set, Cupcake Mix & Match. To show off the new sets, we are having a blog hop which started at Jessica's blog, so if you are here and haven't been there, go back to her blog to get started!! From my blog, you will be hopping to Joanne's blog. Three new sets will be released on the first, so we will be having a blog hop for the next three days. Then on Tuesday, Jessica will be showing the full sets on her blog. For my card, I paired the cake image from this set with my Parisian Summer DSP. I stamped the cake on Very Vanilla paper and colored it in with my Copics. I then cut it out and layered it on a Very Vanilla oval that was cut out and embossed with my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties. The colors on this card are Pink Pirouette, So Saffron and Bravo Burgundy. The pink ribbon is from May Arts and the Vanilla taffeta is from SU. I used a gold spiral clip and some Very Vanilla brads from SU. Well, that is it for me now, off to Joanne's with you!! Have fun and have a great day!!
Here is a list of all the participants in the hop, just in case!!

Happy Friday!!

Happy Friday!!! Today is my day of the week to post something Prettie for ya, but before I do that, here is some info you need to know!!

Paper Pretties is having a release on April 1st so that means it is time for another CUTIE PIE CONTEST!!! All you have to do to enter is upload a card you have made using Paper Pretties stamps to the Cutie Pie Contest gallery over at the Paper Pretties website. Entries must be in by no later than 8pmCST on March 31st to be considered for the prize. Besides getting to call yourself a CutiePie, you will also receive all the new stamps that are released on the 1st!! Good luck!!

Okay, now that I have that over with, here is my share for today!! It is actually a set of 3x3 cards and a box to hold them. I made them for the last Prettie party and just haven't had a chance to share them yet. I used the April Stamp of the Month, Hola Chica, and paired her with some Bella Rose DSP. I made the box and cards using a template that I found on SCS. All accessories and paper came from SU, except for the white which is from Gina K. You have until midnight on the 31st to get signed up for the Stamp of the Month Club and get Hola Chica mailed to you before she is released.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!

Spring Sprouts

Sadly, while I was away for a little bit, I missed the mid month release at My Favorite Things. This month we released two new sets from a BRAND new artist. The new artist is Sara Williams, and she is TOTALLY talented and fabulous!! Her two new sets, Funky Flowers and Spring Sprouts, are part of the MFT Presents line and are so CUTE!! For my card, I used the new Spring Sprouts set. I stamped two of each of the flowers that I used from this set. For the larger two, I stamped them twice and then popped up the flower. I colored them all with my Copics and then added a glitter dot to their centers. The colors are from this weeks Color Challenge, hosted by my girl Jodi, and the sketch is this weeks MFT Sketch(74). My sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments set from MFT. The colors on my card are Pretty in Pink, Baja Breeze, and Kiwi Kiss. The DP is from SU, along with my two ribbons. The spiral clip is from Spare Parts and the brads are from American Crafts. Well, that is it for me now..busy busy busy with new release samples so stay tuned!!

Prettie Wednesday- Bookmark

Two weeks ago, Christi challenged the Prettie Girls to make a bookmark. For mine, I used my favorite Parisian Breeze DSP and some Chocolate Chip cardstock. I stamped my image from Simply Special twice, once on Gina K. white and once on more of the DSP. I paper pieced the watering can and then colored the rest of the image with my Copics. I did some piercings, added some brads from American Crafts, and used some Valet Ribbon Originals for the top. The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
Want to play along? All you have to do is make your bookmark and leave a link on any one of the Prettie Girls blogs so that we can all see your work. Here is a list of the other girls participating!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!

Happy Birthday Frances!!

Hoot! It's a Birthday Blog Hop Prettie Girl style... with a dash of owl-y goodness tossed in for fun! The amazingly talented Frances is celebrating a birthday today and the Prettie Girls just had to throw another virtual party! The hop started at Jacque's so if you didn't start from there you might be missing out on some of the fun! :) When you reach the end of the hop make sure and leave a little love for Frances wishing her a Happy Birthday! The next stop on the blog hop is Jackie R's blog..so be sure to go there next!!

Since Frances LOVES owls, we all decided to try to incorporate owls into our cards. I used my Flutterby image, which I stamped on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then paper pieced the dress with some Good Morning Sunshine DSP. The flower and pearls were colored in with my white gel pen. The rest of the image was colored in with my Copic markers. The sketch is from this past week's SCS sketch challenge. My cute little owl is from the My Favorite Things set, We're Not Scared...cute right? I did a TON of paper piercing and added lots of embellishments, all of which are from SU. The sentiment is from the Paper Pretties set, Bugs and Fishes. It was punched out with my word window punch. W

Well, that is it for me now. Be sure to head to Jackie's Blog for the next stop on the hop!!

Not For the Faint of Heart...

Did you know that There She Goes is having a Changing of the Seasons sale? Here are the details taken from Jessica's blog!!

Everyone loves a sale and starting this month There She Goes will be having a Changing Of The Seasons sale! The sale will be from Friday the 20th (the first day of spring!) - Tuesday the 24th. There are 4 stamp sets that are each 15% off! This season's sale sets are-Crafty Taglines $12.75 (reg. $15.00)LOL Taglines $18.70Welcome Home $18.70Special Delivery $12.75 (reg. $15.00)

I decided to use the LOL Taglines set so that I could tempt you to go shopping, is it working?? Honestly, for this sentiment alone, the stamp set is worth whatever you have to pay for it...if you ask me, LOL. You can see why I said not for the faint of heart though, right? I just didn't want to scare anyone off.hehe. I stamped the muffin three times on Gina K. White and then colored the tops in with my Copics. The bottoms were paper pieced with some Washington Apple DSP. I then added some Crystal Effects to the tops to make them look yummier! I then used my 1 1/4in square punch and my scalloped square punch to make the three image panels. The sketch is Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I added some SO Saffron Poly Twill ribbon as well as some Riding Hood Red taffeta. The panel behind the images was made using my Scalloped edge punch from Su and some more Washington Apple DSP. Isn't that sentiment priceless!!

That is it for me now..thanks for stopping by!!

My First Little Paper Shop

Isn't this image SUPAH cute!! It is one of the new digital stamps(ETA: I got a question from someone that didn't have a way to directly reply to them...she asked if a digital stamp could only be used once...the answer is no. You buy it, download it, save it your computer and it is yours forever!!) from the Little Paper Shop. I paired it with a sentiment from the new Blessings set that was released on the 17th. I used this past Monday's Mojo Monday sketch for my card as well. The image was printed three times, twice on Gina K. White and once on some Sweet Always DSP. I paper pieced the egg and then colored the rest with my Copics. The hands were cut out of the third image and added on top of the egg. The end of the image panel, as well as it's Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose layers were rounded using my Large Oval punch. I added a spiral clip with some Pretty in Pink taffeta on it, as well as some white satin ribbon from SU. The brads are also from SU. This card also works for the Little Paper Shop blog challenge(LPSC08), to make a monochromatic card.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

A Long Absence

So, for those of you still coming to my blog, you may have noticed my long absence. It is hard for me to believe that I haven't blog since last Friday(the 13th...told you that day would be unlucky). Lots of MAJOR changes have taken place in my life in the last week, and I won't lie and say that it hasn't directly affected my mojo. I am not quite ready to talk about it publicly yet, but when I am ready, trust me, you all will be the first to know. Today is the first time I have stamped since last Friday, and although I felt a little out of practice, it felt SO GOOD to get back to my table. I have taken a tiny break from my Design Team work, but I am lucky to work for and with the most AMAZING people in the world, and I think they know I can't WAIT to get back in the swing of things...in fact, I don't think it will be long. I made this card for my Mom to give to a friend of hers. She just got accepted into Nursing School and my Mom is super proud of her. I just hope she likes the card, LOL. Today, when I saw the featured stamper was Beate, I was super excited and a little shocked....I still can't believe that she hasn't been the FS before, can you? Anywho, I decided to CASE this card of hers. I changed the colors, DP, added a few layers, changed the images, and added wide ribbon instead of the scalloped piece. I liked the bird theme, so I decided to use my A Little Birdie Told Me set from SU. I paper pieced the birds with some East Coast Prep DP and then used my C2 Copic marker to make the shadow. All the accessories are from SU, as well as everything else..although the paper is sadly retired.
Well, that is it for me now...I need to get some more stamping done so I can preset my blog for the week!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day...I missed you guys!!

I'm This Week's Cupcake Sampler!!

Words cannot even express how EXCITED and HONORED I was to be asked by Taylor to be her Cupcake Sketch Sampler for this week!! I must have redone this card a hundred times, LOL!! But as nervous as it made me, I would do it again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for asking me Taylor, it is truly an honor!! For my card today, I used one of my FAVORITE Paper Pretties stamps, Sweets for the Sweet(currently out of stock, sorry, I really hate it when I do that. Be sure to check out the Pretties store too, Christie is now carrying Shimmerz, Blingz, and is having a GREAT sale on Copics!!) I stamped it on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it in with my Copics. The bar the utensils are hanging on was colored with my Silver gel pen. I then cut it out and layered it with Pumpkin Pie and Cool Caribbean. The DP I used is from My Mind's Eye, it is so yummy!! I cut the circles out with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. The ribbon is from SU( white taffeta and Pumpkin Pie grosgrain). I added some large white American Crafts brads too, along with some piercing. The sentiment was cut out with my Ribbon Slide tag dies and my Cuttlebug. Super cut huh!! Thanks again Taylor for choosing me, I can't wait to see what her team has come up with for this sketch too!! Thanks and have a great day! My Mom is getting married today, so Congrats Mom, I love you!!

Green Bugs...

So, I wasn't able to play in yesterday's Ways to Use It challenge, so I decided to combine it with today's Limited Supplies Challenge. The WT was to make a Green card, whether it be that you used recycle products or just the color green. I decided to go with Wild Wasabi, my favorite green that is sadly retired. For today's LSC, you had to use some sort of bug stamp, four layers and no patterned papers....oiy. This one was hard for me, but The end result is cute, plain, but cute. I used my Slow and Steady set from There She Goes, along with the mini Holiday's Galore set. My image was stamped on Gina K. White and then colored with my Copics. I added a piece of Wild Wasabi striped ribbon and a Cuttlebugged panel of Wild Wasabi cardstock. Pretty simple card for me huh!! That is it for me now, stay tuned for a SUPER exciting post later!!
