Happy New Year!!! We hope you had a wonderful holiday and are ready for lots of amazing things for 2013 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! Let's start things off with another awesome challenge! Is your resolution to kraft more and SHARE more!?! It's awesome to see so many of you creating with KKS!!! Keep them coming!

For my card tonight, I used the super cute Best Fur-iends stamps set. I colored her on X-Press it blending card, and then layered her with Cotton Candy(MFT), Banana Split(Bazzil), and Fossil cardstock(|MFT).  Her dress was paper pieced with some MME The Sweetest Thing Lavender paper, and it was also used on my card base. I paired this all with some Cotton Candy grosgrain from MFT, Michael's brads, and a spiral clip.

I decided to make a coupon book with for tonight using the new Coupon Book-Love set. I cut my base and inside tickets out with the Coupon Book Die-namics using Sno Cone, Bubblegum, and Sweet Tooth cardstock. For my cover, I used some MME Love Me paper, the new Layered Heart Border Die-namics, and the new Rustic Hearts Die-namics. I added a Sno Cone button with some hemp cord to my heart. I used the Dog Tag Die-namics for my sentiment, which came from the new Homespun Hearts set. It was stamped with Black Licorice Ink. 

For the inside of my book, I made a few different tickets using Sweet Tooth cardstock. I added a row of hearts cut out of Bubblegum cardstock, and another heart from the Rustic Hearts Die-namics. My sentiments were stamped with Black Licorice and Sno Cone ink from MFT, and Angel Wings from Memento. 

My second ticket uses all the same supplies, and for both, I added a button-either Sweet Tooth or Sno Cone, and some hemp cord.

For my post tonight, I instantly thought of a card set. Making masculine cards is SO hard for most people, so I decided to make a small set of cards that can work for many different occasions.

For my cards, I used the same supplies on each one.  I started with a Whip Cream base. I added a small strip of Basic Grey Archaic paper, with a Little Open Scalloped Border Die-namics strip in Hot Fudge.

I then stamped my images using Jellybean Green ink, and for my sentiment, I used Fossil ink.

The sentiments were cut out with the Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

To finish, I tied some Hemp Cord from MFT around the top strip of paper.

For my card tonight, I used the Document It-Off The Chart set. I LOVE the new Accent It-Pie Chart Die-namics, and I couldn't wait to use it with this SUPER fun set. I started by cutting out my new Heart Doily Die-namics with Wild Cherry ink, and then cut the Pie Chart Die-namics out with Sweet Tooth and some paper from the Lilybee Designs Homemade line. I stamped the ME with Wild Cherry Ink, and then added a Gumdrop Green button with Hemp Cord to it. My background is more of the paper accented with the new Layered Heart Border Die-namics, some Sno Cone grosgrain, the new Keys&Locks Die-namics in Wild Cherry cardstock, and more of the hemp cord. On my card base, made up of Sweet Tooth, Sno Cone, Wild Cherry, and Gumdrop Green cardstock, has the You from this set stamped in Wild Cherry, and the + stamped with the new Sno Cone ink.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite

                                               sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the a la modes Cheers set, which is one of my favorites! I paired it with one of the Echo Park This&That paper pads. I cut my circles out with the Circle Stax Die-namics, and my scallops were cut out of Hot Fudge cardstock with the Double Scallop Border Die-namics. I used Fossil and Sweet Tooth cardstock as well, and my image was colored on X-Press It blending card. My ribbon is Hot Fudge grosgrain, and I attached my sentiment flag with some hemp cord. I also used a spiral clip, and some Michael's brads.

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. It's Teaser Time!!

Tonight, I made a card, and a matching treat box using a few of the new Die-namics, and both new sets. 

For my card, I started with my cardstock colors: Sweet Tooth, Cotton Candy, Wild Cherry, and Black Licorice. My paper is from the Your Truly collection from Echo Park. I used it to cut out some of my hearts, as well as my Sweet Tooth cardstock. I stamped hearts on the Sweet Tooth cardstock using Wild Cherry ink.  I added some scallops from the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics, and embellished with Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, Maraschino Twine, Charcoal Twine, Michael's brads, Black Licorice, and Wild Cherry buttons. My sentiment was stamped on the Framed Greetings Die-namics with Black Licorice ink.

For the inside, I used the new Hearts and Stitches set along the bottom with Wild Cherry ink. I added more of the Echo Park Yours Truly paper to the top, and another heart cut out with the Rustic Hearts Die-namics. My sentiment was stamped with the new Black Licorice ink pad being released this month!!

For my next creation, I used the new Square Pillowbox Die-namics in Cotton Candy. I added a strip of the Yours Truly paper from Echo park, some Sweet Tooth grosgrain with Charcoal Twine around it to secure it. For my sentiment embellishment, I stamped my saying with Black Licorice ink on Sweet Tooth cardstock that was cut out with the Rustic Hearts Die-namics. I also added one using my paper, and finished it off with a Black Licorice button and some Maraschino Twine.

TSG188-Sponging with Diecuts

Hey everyone! It's almost New Years, and I gotta say, I am SO READY for a new year. This year has seen some ups, but quite a few downs for not only me, but my family, and friends as well. I REALLY hope we catch a break next year...fingers crossed!!

Anywho, it's time for this week's There She Goes challenge, and this week we are sponging with Die-cuts. Tobi has given some pretty awesome directions on the TSG blog, so be sure to check it out for instructions on how to use this technique. I had some fun with mine, but I got a new camera for Christmas, so I am trying to get it all lines out. Wish me luck!

For my card, I used the SUPER cute new Smarty Pants set, paired iwth some Echo Park For The Record 2 paper. I paired it with Gumdrop Green, Orange Fizz, Black Licorice, and Sweet Tooth card stock all from MFT. My ribbon is Black Licorice from MFT, and my buttons are the same as my cardstock colors...also from MFT. I used the Designer Labels Stax 4 Die-namics to cut out my image, and it was sponged with Memento Cantaloupe ink. My background was created using the Chevron Stripes Die-namics.
