Maidbot Blog Hop Challenge

It's that time again, There She Goes fans!! Here we are at this month's FIRST day of new release peeks, and we are in LOVE with this month's releases!! Torico has 4 fabulous sets for us this month, and we are dying to let you see, so let's get to it!!

Another FUN addition to her SUPER CUTE robot line, Torico is back with this month’s Maidbot. I know we all WISH we had one, and well, now you SORT OF do!!!! Imagine the fun cards and scrapbook pages you can make with this cutie, and her cleaning tools!

Maidbot is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 6 stamps and will sell for $7.00.

For my card, I paired my Maidbot with the Everyday Flair paper pad from MME. I stamped her on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I paper pieced her apron, and then layered her with Bubblegum(MFT), Banana Split(Bazzill), and Tempting Turquoise. I used the MFT Small Scalloped Border Die-namics for my scallops, White Twill and Pink Jute Twine from the Ribbon Carousel, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express spiral clip. For her sign, I stamped it twice, along with her hand, and cut both out separately.

Would you like to win the new Maidbot stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, July 28th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

Crazy 4 Kraftin' Kimmie!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge!! This week's challenge is being sponsored by one of my FAVORITE companies, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! We decided to make our challenge the same as the Kraftin' Kimmie weekly challenge, which is Faux/Real Stitching!! I was REALLY going to break out the sewing machine for this, but I would LITERALLY have to break it out. New, still in the box, two years old, sewing machine...it's a tragedy, right?

The girl's at Kraftin' Kimmie won't be posting their challenge until our normal time, 7am EST, but Kimmie let me go ahead and post tonight with the rest of the Crazies....plus, I just can't hold my secret in any longer...

After being a guest for the last two months, Kimmie asked me to stay, so I am NOW a KRAFTY GIRL!!! This team is a team I have wanted to be on for SO long, and it is EVERYTHING I hoped it would be!! There is SUCH chemistry between these fabulous ladies, and along with me, there are a few other newbies being revealed in the morning!! I am SO happy for all of them, and as SOON as they are announced, I will add their names here!!

For my card tonight, I used the Smells Like Team Spirit set. I paper pieced the chair with some Echo Park Times and Seasons paper. I colored the rest with my Copics, and then layered it with Bravo Burgundy(SU), Night of Navy(SU), and Jellybean Green(MFT). For my stitching, I did my normal paper piercing and then connected all the dots with my Copic Multiliner pen. The ribbon I used was Graphite Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and Natural Jute Twine from there as well. I used Michael's brads to finish it off.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out my teammates at both the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog, and the Crazy 4 Challenges blog for more info on both challenges!!

Bazzill Cardstock and the Ribbon Carousel!

Hey everyone!! The Ribbon Carousel is hopping along with Bazzill today to introduce you to what is becoming one of my FAVORITE things!!

Have you tried the Bazzill Card Shoppe Cardstock yet?!

Bazzill has been working with its paper mills to create the perfect premium, smooth, heavy-weight cardstock that will be a sweet treat for every card-maker. Now available in 28 coordinating colors. The paper is a stout 100 lbs. and folds with a crisp edge. It won’t warp when used with markers, inks, or mists, and can handle loads of embellishments without sagging.

Did you know that we carry all 28 colors at the Ribbon Carousel store?!
The Ribbon Carousel Crewmates have fallen in love with the stuff!

We are thrilled to be teaming up with Bazzill today to show off their amazing new cardstock!  Today is National Lollipop Day so the Ribbon Carousel Crewmates have created some crafty eye candy with this theme!

For my card today, I used the Freeze The Moment set from There She Goes. I hand drew her lollipop on X-Press it Blending card, along with my image, and colored it with Copics. I added a Oval Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics layer using Candy Hearts from Bazzill. This is truly one of THE best card stocks I have EVER had the pleasure of using. It is thick, smooth, and it cuts SO well. I LOVE the colors, too...which supplement my cardstock collection PERFECTLY!! My other cardstock colors are Juicy Pear and Banana Split(my current favorite color, ever). Satin Edged White Grosgrain from The Ribbon Carousel was used for my bow and my spiral clip. I also used the Echo Park Hello Summer paper pad, and Michael's brads.

Well, that is it for me for now! After you check out the cards my teammates and I have made on the Ribbon Carousel Blog, head right on over to the Bazzill blog AND there you find a special COUPON for the Ribbon Carousel store!

Bazzill donated 3 sampler pack of the Card Shope cardstock for us to give away!
