My Favorite Things Release-Day One

It's finally time for the MFT release(told you it was going to get busy around here), and tonight we have our Who's That Girl set-Straight from the Carton, and a special new set-My Favorite Sentiments. Here is some info about it:

MFT is so excited to celebrate our 6th birthday this month! For my card tonight, I started by stamping my sentiment with Momento Rich Cocoa ink on some MME Lost and Found 2 Breeze paper. I cut it out using the new Designer Labels 3 Stax Die-namics. It was layered with Hot Fudge card stock. My flower is the new Plentiful Petals Die-namics, and was cut out of Bazzill Jawbreaker and Jelly Bean Green(MFT). I cut two flourishes out with the Fancy Flourish Die-namics. My ribbon is Walnut Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and my brads are from Michaels.  For my patterned paper background, I used the new Rounded Banner Stax Die-namics.

For the inside, I used another sentiment from this set, and more of the paper from my MME pad. I did sponge the edges slightly to soften it up.

Scent-sational Blog Hop Challenge

It's FINALLY time for this month's release, and the entire team is SUPER geared up for all the new sets, so let's get to it!! I know I gave you a little sneak peek yesterday, but you will have to wait for tomorrow for THAT full set!!

Sniff…Sniff…..Can you smell what Melyssa has created for us this month?? It is SCENT-SATIONAL!!! Full of super cute sayings, and the most adorable skunks EVER, well, there really isn’t anything stinky about this set! Adorable AND punny…just how we like it!!

Scent-sational is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 23 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

For my card today, I stamped my skunk on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. He was layered with Orange Fizz(MFT), Candy Necklace(Bazzill), and Kiwi Kiss(SU). I used one of Karen's Sweet Sunday sketches, and added a sentiment panel to the front. My flags were all cut out with the First Place Award Die-namics from MFT out of MME On The Bright Side Two paper. I used Michael's brads, Orange Fizz grosgrain from MFT, and some Caribbean Twine.

TSG162 and a PEEK!!

I can't tell you much today, but I CAN tell you that the stamps I used are part of the new release from There She Goes, starting tomorrow!! The set's name is Stitched with Love which will be previewed on Wednesday, and I am SO excited about this month's release....the ol' blogaroo is about to get BUSY!!!

My card is also for this week's There She Goes sketch challenge, and we can't wait for you to play along!! You can find all the details on the There She Goes blog!!

For my card today, I used the SUPER cute paper pad from Lilybee Designs, Handmade. I paired it with Red Hot(MFT), Cool Caribbean(SU), and Lemon Tart(PTI) card stock. My twine is from the Ribbon Carousel-Buttercream, and my brads are from Michael's. I used the MFT Circle Stax, Dizzy Doily Duo,  Small Scalloped Border, and First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics.

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 134- Summer Fun

Hey everyone, and Happy Saturday! It is time for another Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge, and this week's challenge is Summer Fun!! Out hostess is Sandie Dunne this week, and the winner of this week's challenge will win the Jack stamp set!!

I decided to use one of the new mermaids from the Krafty Klubhouse Kit, Sea Jewels. She was stamped on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with Copics. I layered her with Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, and Candy Hearts card stock. My ribbon is Satin Edged White Grosgrain from the Ribbon Carousel. I created my scene using the Sun Die-namics from MFT, along with the Cloud Trio Die-namics, and Catch A Wave Border Die-namics.

Crazy 4 Sketches

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge. This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge, which I LOVE!!

For my card tonight, I used the SUPER cute Little Loveosaurus from My Favorite Things. I paired it with the Lilybee Designs Buttercup paper pad. My cardstock colors are Baja Breeze, Marigold Morning, and Going Gray from SU. I used the Circle Stax Die-namics to cut out my main image, and the Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics for it's layer. My sentiment was stamped on a Mini Doily Circles Die-namics.  The ribbon I used is from the Ribbon Carousel, and my brads are from Michael's.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

I Spy 21- Spread Your Wings....

Hey everyone, it's time for another ISpy sketch challenge! 

This week's sketch is from  Paige Grabau (Paige @ SCS) and is based on this card.

For my card, I used the FABULOUS Spread Your Wings set from There She Goes. I love the sentiments from it, which I added to the bottom with the First Place Award Ribbon from MFT. I used their Butterfly Die-namics, as well as the Fancy Flourish Die-namics. I added brads to the middle of the butterflies, and some Sno Cone ribbon to the sides with spiral clips. My paper is from the MME On The Sunny Side, which I paired with Red Hot(MFT), Sno Cone(MFT), and Sage Shadow(SU)

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!!

For my card today, I used the SUPER CUTE Pure Innocence Soldier Girl. She was paired with my Simple Stories Summer Fresh paper pad. I used Lemon Drop, Red Hot, and Night of Navy(SU) card stock. My ribbon is Red Hot grosgrain from MFT. 

For my sentiment, I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and my scallops were made with the Little Open Scalloped Strip Die-namics. My other embellishments are Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

For my cards tonight, I used both the SUPER cute Surfer PI's in this kit, Surfer Girl and Surfer Dude!!

For my Surfer Chick, I colored her with my Copics, and paper pieced her board with some Hello Summer paper from Echo Park. My card stock is Sno Cone using the Wave Die-namics, Pink Pirouette(SU), Sour Apple, and Orange Fizz. I used the new Sentiment Strips Die-namics which is in the kit with the VIP mini set included in the kit. For my ribbon, I used the Orange Fizz Grosgrain, brads are from Michael's, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies and another sentiment from the mini set included with the kit!

For my Surfer Dude, I colored him with Copics, and used the Echo Park Boy's Life paper. My background uses the EP paper, and the new Jumbo Squiggle Border Die-namics from the kit as well! I also used a new Sentiment Strips Die-namics with my sentiment from the exclusive to this kit mini set.. My card stock is Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, and Night of Navy(SU). For my embellishments, I used the Orange Fizz ribbon again, Michael's brads, and Creative Express spiral clips.

For the inside, I used the same supplies, and a sentiment from the Surfer Chick set.
