I Spy a Beach...

Hey everyone!! It's time for this week's I Spy sketch!
This week's card is by Dyane Fogleboch (Precious Stamps @ SCS) and is based on this card.

It is also There She Goes(Again!) week, where we are featuring three older sets from There She Goes
, Life's a Beach, Aim for the Clouds, and A Drink a Day. I decided to use  Life's a Beach!

I stamped my image on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics. I cut it out with  my Circle Stax Die-namics, and then layered it with the Dizzy Doily Duo Die-namics in Fossil. My paper is from the Echo Park This&That paper pad paired with Fossil, Hot Fudge, and Jellybean Green cardstock. My brads are from Michael's, and my twine is from Ribbon Carousel. For the panel on the base that looks like wood, I used the MFT Bracket Edge Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to check out the girls at both the ISpy Blog and There She Goes for their creations for this week!!

My ribbon is old MFT ribbon, and I used a creative express spiral clip and Michael's brads. My sentiment was cut out with the Rounded Banner Trio Die-namics. For my scallops, I used the Little Open Scalloped Strip Die-namics.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

TSG156-Fly Away With Me

Hey everyone!! It is time for another There She Goes challenge, and this week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetters! We are READY for summer, and all that summer can bring…including a nice long VACATION!! Whether it’s taking a hot air balloon ride, or soaking up the sun on a beach with a cocktail in hand, we want you to be inspired by what vacation YOU want to be on right now!!

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project with a Vacation inspired theme, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 21st). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG156 so we can check out your beautiful work!

For my card this week, I decided to use the Aim for the Clouds set, which is one of this month's There She Goes(Again!) sets! I would LOVE to go on a vacation that involved a hot air balloon, but I am a BIG chicken, and would probably have a heart attack, LOL!!! But, if you were to ask me to fly away with you, in a plane, I would DEFINITELY be game!! I used this month's Sketch For You To Try, paired with MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue paper. I used Kraft ribbon from MFT with Mandarin Twine from the Ribbon Carousel. I used the Wonky Scalloped Border from My Favorite Things, as well. My colors are Fossil(MFT), Tangy Orange(MFT), and Bayou Blue(SU).

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the There She Goes blog for a list of designers playing along this week!

Tonight, I am combining challenges, and using my assigned set: Birthday Bot!! It is one of my FAVORITE Bot sets by Torico!! I paired it with this week's Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge, and the I Spy Sketch for this week as well! I think I forced myself into too many constraints, so I am not so sure about my card, but I LOVE this set, so I went with it!! The C4C challenge was to use the inspiration photo, so I played off the colors...so fun! I used Blu Raspberry, Sour Apple, and Cotton Candy card stock from MFT, and paired it with October Afternoon Sidewalks paper. One of the papers was what I was originally inspired by, but I ended up not using it...as inspiration usually goes for me!!

Well, that is it for me for now! Time to hop along and visit all the other stampers!

RCC52 Word to Your Mother

The name of this challenge is cracking me up, but I wouldn't expect ANYTHING less from Wendy Ramlakhan...she's HILARIOUS! She is also this week's hostess for the Ribbon Carousel challenge!

This week Wendy, our resident Coloring Goddess on the Ribbon Carousel Crew, is challenging us to create something with a Mother's Day sentiment!  The prize up for grabs is a $5.00 gift card to the Ribbon Carousel Store

For my card, I used the Clearly Sentimental about Mothers set, and paired it with October Afternoon Farmhouse paper. I used the Mini Rolled Rose Die-namics for my Berrylicious and Marigold Morning flowers. My sentiment was stamped on one of the layers from the Well Worn Labels Die-namics. My card base is Going Gray, which matches my Grey Mist Seam Binding PERFECTLY!! I used the Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics for my flag panels behind the sentiment, and anchored them with Michael's brads.

My sketch is this week's Deconstruted Sketch which the Ribbon Carousel is sponsoring as well!!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies and another sentiment.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to head to the Ribbon Carousel Blog to see a list of who all is participating in this week's challenge and to get your chance to play along!

May Creative Challenge-Wreaths

Hey Everyone, long time no see!! Are you ready, because it is time for this month's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things!!

Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're creating wreaths. Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have put their MFT stamps and/or Die-namics dies to work to create a wreath for you today!

For my wreath today, I did no stamping...but I sure gave my Cuttlebug a workout, LOL!! I started by wrapping 2in Purple satin ribbon around a 12in" foam wreath form. I secured it with Scor Tape and some extra ribbon to cover the seam. I purchased the form and ribbon at Michael's. My co-worker just had a baby girl, so I decided to make this for her. Not my normal color scheme, but I think it will work for Addalynne's room!

I used the  By the Letters Uppercase Alphabet Die-namics and cut her name out of Grapsicle and Razzleberry card stock. I used a Xyron to make the letters into stickers so I could move them around if I needed. I then cut some hearts out using the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics in the same cardstock colors, plus Sweet Tooth. They were attached with brads from Michael's, and Jute Twine from the Ribbon Carousel.

For my flowers, I used the Large Leafy Flourish Die-namics in Mellow Moss as my base, and the Perfect Petal Trio Die-namics in my card stock colors. I added large silver brads from Michael's to the center of them, as well.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:
