My card for tonight uses a super cute stamp from the Sweet Shop Stamps store, Melvin and Vernie. I stamped my owl on X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with Copics. I then layered him with Fossil, Saffron, and Berrylicious card stock. My paper is from the My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart-Be Amazing pad. I used the MFT Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics for my background, and the Scalloped Ribbon Die-namics for the stip across. My sentiment was punched out with SU punches. I used Michael's brads, and Creative Express Spiral Clip. The ribbon I used is Jute Twine, and  Primrose Vintage Seam Binding, both from the Ribbon Carousel.

Hey everyone, and Happy Monday!! Since it is Monday, it is time for this week's There She Goes Challenge!!

This week our challenge is brought to us by Theresa! She has challenged us to make a card or project with a hidden surprise. Whether it is a gift card, chocolate, or an explosion card….we want to see what you are hiding!!

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project with a Hidden Surprise, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. Now, those that aren't new to my blog know how much I LOVE to make "specialty" cards....not. Following tutorials is time consuming, and not my thing, but when I saw this Windshield Wiper card tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers, I couldn't stop myself. It was TOO fun! I followed the Tutorial using Fossil, Sour Apple, and Berrylicious card stock from My Favorite Things. I also used Sweet Tooth cardstock, also from MFT. My paper is from the MME Lime Twist Fly a Kit collection. I used this month's new release, Birthdaybot, and colored him with Copics after stamping him on X-Press It Blending card. I then paper pieced part of the present. I used Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip. My ribbon is Satin Edged White Grosgrain and Honeydew Twine from The Ribbon Carousel.

Playing Catch-up...'cause I'm a Good Egg!

I swear, I am always a day or two behind anymore, and I hope that it gets better, and soon!! I have WAY too much to do to be falling behind, lol!! I am so behind, I went ahead and made one card for two challenges, the iSpy Sketches challenge from Friday, and the Crazy4Challenges challenge from Saturday. Follow the link to each of these blogs for more info on the challenges, and to get entered!!

For my card tonight, I started with the sketch provided this week, and FUN, but CHALLENGING one from Patter Cross. I used circles instead of octagons, but I do like the way it looks. I am thinking now that I shouldn't have popped the yellow one up, but I am still happy with my card! I used the SUPER cute new EGG-stra Special set from There She Goes. The Crazy 4 Challenges challenge was New Beginnings and Spring...so I went with Spring. I stamped my basket on X-Press it Blending Card, and then colored it, and the eggs I stamped separately, with my Copics. It was cut out and layered with my Circle Nesties, and then popped up. My paper is from the Lilybee Designs-Happily Lost pack. I paired it with Rose Red(SU), Berrylicious(MFT),  Sweet Tooth(MFT), and Banana Split(MFT). I used the MFT First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment, and SU circle punches for my paper circles. My brads are from Michael's, and my White Sheer Box Pleated ribbon and Buttercream Twine is from the Ribbon Carousel.
