Hey everyone, and welcome to day two of this month's new release teasers from My Favorite Things!! Tonight we are showing three new sets: Jolinne-Once Upon a Time, Clearly Sentimental About Music, and Flopsey Fishing.

For my card tonight, I used the Jolinne- Once Upon a Time set. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Pink Lemonade, Orange Fizz, and Hot Fudge. My Dp is from the SU Sweet Always pack. My Blossom Twine was purchased at MFT, my brads are from Michael's, and my ribbon is from SU.
I used the new Teardrop Tree Topper Die-namic, as well as the new Simply Scallops Medium Die-namic. My sentiment was cut out using the Sweet Stack Die-namic.

For the inside of my card, I used more of the same supplies, as well as, another sentiment from the set. It's my favorite....<3

It's Time, It's Time, IT'S TIME!!!!

Ok, so MAYBE I am a LITTLE excited about this month's My Favorite Things release, but seriously, WHO WOULDN'T BE!!!! We have SO MUCH AMAZING stuff being released this month, I was at a loss as to what to do for it.......it's all so awesome!! I feel like the little girl in Despicable Me....IT'S SO (AWESOME) I'M GONNA DIE!!!

My first card uses the SUPER FUN new Typewritter Alphabet....SO FUN!! I started by using the SUPER FUN new Fishtail Banner Die-namic. I used GP white for the smaller circle, Orange Fizz for the scalloped circle, two different Stephanie Fizer Robot Digi Papers for the smaller banner, and Black Licorice for the layer.....a LOT of Cuttlebugging, but SO WORTH IT!! My image is from the SF set, Bunch Of Bots set. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics. It was layered with the same card stock colors I used on the banner. See the fun new Open Zig Zag Border Die-namics....SO FUN!! I used Black Twine for my banner, and some other ribbon I had laying around, as well as, some brads from Michael's.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies...and I even used my alphabet to create a sentiment....which I spelled wrong at first, so I had to use the Sweet Stack Die-namics to "fix" it. Sometimes, I'm a doofus...luckily, I'm okay with that!!!

For my next card, I used the SUPER CUTE new Flapper Doodles set, Hold Me Tight. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics. My card stock is Wild Wasabi, and Regal Rose. I used MFT ribbon, and I hand cut out my sentiment. My scallops were made using the new Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics...yaaaaaay, more SCALLOPS!! The DP I used is part of the Echo Park Life is Good line for my DP's. The polka dot paper was cut out using the new Open Scallop Doily Die-namic.....another fun one!!! See the fun way I attached my sentiment? Yep, I used part of the Fishtail Banner Die-namic to create it!!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, but stamped some hearts from the set, too. I colored them in, as well as their cheeks, just to give it another POP of color.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Here is all the NEED TO KNOW info!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 17

Hey everyone, and welcome to Forgotten Stamp Friday.....where is my card...well, it's part of my My Favorite Things teaser post for today, so be sure to head there to see it!! Not familiar with this challenge...well, you should be!! Every week, I challenge myself, and all of you, to make a card using your poor, lonely, dusty, unused, forgotten stamps. I feel guilty with the sheer VOLUME of stamps that I own in comparison to what I ACTUALLY use, so this challenge is one that helps me to ease my guilt a little. There are NO rules, just that you
a)PLAY ALONG
b) use a stamp that is either unused or owned and un-inked for 6 months
c) come back and add yourself to the linky thingy so I can see what you've done
d) be sure if you upload to SCS, that you use the keyword FSF17...that way I can find you!!

There is no time limit, this is just a jumping off point for you to get into those old stamp sets, and show them some love.
Here's a little peeky of my sample, but seriously, go see the whole thing!!

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Don't forget to add yourself to my linky thingy.

TSG100- Happy Birthday

This week’s challenge is being issued by our Trendsetter of the Week, Kim! She wants us to create a card that uses NO MARKERS…no Copics, no Tombow Markers…NO MARKERS AT ALL! Can you believe it? So reach for those pastels, colored pencils, or other coloring mediums that you’ve been neglecting and show them some love this week! And as always, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes no markers, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Apr 3rd). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG100 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Poppies: $18.00 $15.30
Spring Fever: $24.00 $20.40
Chem. 101: $7.00 $5.95
Sweet Pea: $7.00 $5.95
Right now, There She Goes has their changing of the seasons sale going on, so be sure to get in on that action!!!

For my card tonight, I used the Sweet Pea set which is part of the sale going on right now. Since Kim said no markers...I had to revert to some old coloring tactics...I water colored. It kinda hurt a lot. After water coloring my image with SU reinkers and an aquapainter, I layered it with Soft Sky and Wild Cherry. My DP is part of the Cosmo Cricket Modern Homemaker line. My ribbon is from MFT, and the scallops are from the Small Scalloped Die-namics.
Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!!!

MFTWSC13- My Favorite Hello

Happy Wednesday people, long time, no see!! I needed a little break from blogging and stamping, but I HOPE with the new My Favorite Things release looming near, it is time to get crackin!! Teasers start on Friday, and I am SUPER excited!! Enough about that, that's not why you are here.....nope, you are here because it is Wednesday, so that means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge. This week's sketch is another amazing one, so let's get to it!!

For my card tonight, I started by stamping both main images from my Flapper Doodles- My Favorite Hello set on a X-Press It Blending card. I then colored them with my Copics. Jelly Bean Green, and Sour Apple were used as layers, as well as Black Licorice. My PP is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey pack. I used some MFT ribbon, along with some Black Twine, also bought from MFT. My flowers were cut out using the Flower Trio and Leaf Trio Die-namics. I used my Simply Scalloped Die-namics for my scallops, and my sentiment was cut out by hand.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another saying from the card. For my sentiment, I used another set of dies, the Sweet Stack Die-namics. Gotta love a Die-namic you can layer!!

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have great day! Head on over to Kim's blog to see a list of the other designers participating today, and to the MFT forum on SCS for more details as well!!

SSS101....Technology BYTES!

A few days ago, we had the There She Goes blog hop, where we showed off the new Technology Bytes set that was released tonight, but I had WAY too bad a migraine to stamp with it. I had a card started, and promised to post it when I got it done....ya, that was like 15mins ago. lol!!

I am IN LOVE with the snarky and FABULOUS sentiments in this new set, and I know you will be, too.....Textually Frustrated....that's just priceless!! My phone was colored with Copics, then cut out and covered with Crystal Effects. I layered it on top of some Red Hot and Black Licorice card stock. My ribbons are from SU(the red) and MFT(plaid). I used a TON of brads, and a spiral clip from Creative Express. My scallops were made with the Simply Scalloped Die-namics. My sketch is this week's Sweet Stop Sketch.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 16

One often wonders how they can be late for their own challenge, but when you are me....anything is possible!! LOL!! Now seriously, I am NOT late..since there are no time restrictions, but I DID plan on having this posted last night. You know what they say, though...life happens while you are busy making plans.
With that said, WELCOME MY LOVELIES to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge!! There are NO rules, just that you a)PLAY ALONG, b) use a stamp that is either unused or owned and un-inked for 6 months c) come back and add yourself to the linky thingy so I can see what you've done, and d) be sure if you upload to SCS, that you use the keyword FSF16...that way I can find you!! There is no time limit, this is just a jumping off point for you to get into those old stamp sets, and show them some love.

For my card today, I decided to use one of my FAVORITE a la mode sets, Groovy Girl. She was used the first month that she was released, and the poor thing has been sitting on my shelf crying since. Can't we all just get along???;) I stamped her on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her spunky little butt with my Copics. My DP is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection. I paired it with Wild Cherry, Orange Fizz, and Blue Raspberry. I used some Maraschino twine, which I bought from the MFT store. I used some white felt from MFT to make my clouds using the Cloud Die-namics. I also used part of the Sweet Stack Die-namics, and Simply Scalloped Die-namics, as well.

For the inside, I used more of the same, but I decided to use the Say What Die-namics for my sentiment. I also cut out a peace sign, so it could hang over the DP.....that was a lesson in patience right there, let me tell ya.

Before I let you run away, I wanted to give you another head's up on a sale at MFT, which ends today...run, don't walk!!
