SFYTT I Ruff You

Hey everyone!! Before There She Goes has our next release, on Saturday the 28th, I wanted to take this opportunity to play with some of this month's stamps again!! It always seems like when a new set of stamps are released, I get focused on those, and forget all the oldies but goodies. This set, that probably won't happen with because it is just TOO DANG CUTE, but still!!

I started with a past week's Sketch For You To Try, and my Puppy Love set. I wanted to stay pretty masculine with this one, because I kinda know who I want to have it....of course, he has seen it, and when he looked at it, and read "I ruff you"....I think his head exploded...LMBO!!! Oh well...right?
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
stamps: Puppy Love
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
paper: Black Licorice, Old Olive, Gina K. White, Summer Picnic DSP, and MFT Perfect Panel
accessories: Black brads, spiral clips, SU ribbon, Michael's ribbon, Copics, Cuttlebug, Circle Nesties, circle punches

This week's challenge over at the There She Goes Blog is a bookmark challenge. I didn't do a fancy bookmark, mainly because I reject anything technique-y as a general rule, but I still wanted to play along!!

For my book mark, I went very simple due to the fact that I wanted to give this GORGEOUS set, and sentiment the spotlight. The images are from the new, The Journey, set. It was illustrated by Chris Dark, and is GORGEOUS!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

And I used the scalloped scallop at the bottom, along with some SU ribbons.

Crazy 4 Challenges- Music

Happy Saturday everyone! It is time for another challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week it is Frances' turn to host the challenge. Here is her challenge, in her own words!!

"When I first started thinking about what to do for the challenges in August, I decided to check out what special days were in August. in researching this online I discovered that the 2nd week of August was Elvis week which coincides with the anniversary of his death on 16th August 1977.

So my challenge for this week is that you need to include music somehow on your card. It could be a music related stamp, designer paper, embossing folders, punches etc..... whatever you wish. Of course if you have Elvis stamps you get double points hehe!"

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C50. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card, I used Mercy's sketch from a few weeks ago, and I paired it with my Pure Innocence- Tweeny Teen Rock On set. I haven't used it yet....unbelievably. I have to quit doing that, lol!! I used Rockabilly DP, and paired it with Black Licorice, Red Hot, and Old Olive cardstock. See all that yummy ribbon? It's all from MFT, as well as my little brads. Yummm!!
Well, that is it for me for today!! Be sure to check out the other crazies, and see what they have for you!!

Hopeful Challenges...

Ok, I don't want anyone to pass out, but I made a card....for an SCS challenge!! Seriously, it has been FOREVER!!! Today's challenge is the Free 4 All challenge, and the theme was to make a get well, or thinking of you card for someone...but the catch is that you have to send it out to the person you have in mind. Since someone I know and love is battling with breast cancer, I am going to send this to her. Hopefully it finds her well, and on the road to recovery!!

For my card, I used the new Stamps For A Cause set from There She Goes, Winning the Race. I stamped my girl first, and then the tape second. The tape was cut out so that I could put it in front of her. That way, it appears she is about to BREAK through it!! My sketch is this past Sunday's Sweet Sunday sketch.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
stamps: Winning the Race
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
paper: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Gina K. White, Thoroughly Modern DP, and MFT Perfect Panel
accessories: Copics, SU ribbons, spiral clips, brads, SU circle punches

TSG67- Pam's Sketch

Today is still Monday, at least in my time zone, and that means that it is time for another There She Goes challenge. Today's challenge was brought to us by the ever so sweet, and OH so talented Pam Varnell. Her challenge for this week is a sketch, which you can see HERE on the There She Goes Blog.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that incorporates the SKETCH, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (August 16th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG67 so we can check out your beautiful work!

For my card, I decided to use the new Puppy Love set. I paired it with my Walk in The Park DP from SU. The colors I used are Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Gina K. White, and I stamped my image on an MFT perfect panel. The image was colored with Copics, and I used SU ribbons, spiral clips, brads, and my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties.
Isn't she a cutie??
