Hey everyone and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things new release blog hop. The party actually started at Kim' Blog so head there to get started!! If you are here now, you should have come from Cindy's FABULOUS blog!!
Tonight, it is my job to share with you the new Fred Bear in Flight. I know you all have seen him in peeks before, but isn't he just the CUTEST!!??!! He is my new fave....til the next one, LMBO!!

I started by stamping my Fred Bear on an MFT Perfect Panel, then colored him with my Copics. I then cut him, and his layers out using my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. I used all MFT Cardstock(Red Hot, Fossil, and Black Licorice). My sentiment was punched out with the SU modern label punch, and my brads, ribbon, and DP are from there as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great time on the hop!! Next stop.. MEL'S BLOG!!

Teasers Day 5- Baby Bump!!

Today is the final day of teaser's at My Favorite Things, and we are showing three new sets today!! Actually, you MAY have seen them before...if you are an MFT junkie like me!! Baby Bump was this month's VIP set, so you may have seen it then, the other two sets are Baby Bump Additions and Clearly Sentimental About Babies.

For the outside of my card, I stamped my Baby Bump image on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, and Black Licorice(MFT). My DP is Rockabilly from SU, brads and ribbon are SU as well. My spiral clip came from Amazon. I used SU punches to create my sentiment panel, and my Cuttlebug to cut out the circle in the background.

For the inside, I used the same supplies, but added a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental set. Isn't is sweet? A TON of my friends are pregnant right now, including my sister. Not only did she get pregnant with my nephew, Jared, when she wasn't supposed to be able to, now she is pregnant with his brother, due in July!! I can't wait. If I can't have babies of my own, I will spoil others!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to head to KIM'S BLOG to see who else is peeking today!!

Pure Innocence Monday-TEASERS!!!

Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a happy and safe weekend. Today, since it is Monday, we are showing teasers of this month's Pure Innocence images from My Favorite Things. This month, we are releasing four images.....and they are to DIE for cute!! I decided to show two different images using the same supplies, but different sketches.

Both sketches were featured on the Taylored Expressions blog(this past Friday and the Friday before), and I am LOVING them. For both cards, I stamped my images on MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored them with my Copics. They were cut out(the first card using my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities), and then layered with Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, and Hot Fudge(MFT). For my first card using the new Make Mine a Double, I used a combination of Basic Grey, SU, and MFT Chocolate Kiss buttons.

My DP is from the Sweet Always pack from SU. All my ribbons are from SU as well, and my big silver brads are from Michael's. I used SU punched to make my sentiment panel on my Birthday Princess card. The spiral clips I used, came from Amazon.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to head to Kim's blog to see what other MFT team members are posting teasers today!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Crazy 4 Challenges-Kraft Base

It's Saturday-ish, so it is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. This week's challenge was to use a Kraft base on your card. I figured this would be an easy one, til I got into the drawer where I keep my Kraft card stock, and realized I am just about out......YIKES!! I don't use it often, but I hate being out of something!! Be sure to head over to the C4C blog to see all the details about his week's challenge. We are being sponsored by The Greeting Farm this month, so I was anxious to use some of their stamps that I have started collecting.

The stamps I used today is from the Hope and Grace collection, called Sing. I stamped it on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. I layered it with Kraft. My DP is from the Bella Rose collection, and I also used Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss card stock. My ribbons and brads are from SU, and my spiral clip from Amazon.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to see what my other crazy girls have come up with for this challenge!!

Mercy's Sketch 67

I truly hope the weather is as fabulous where you are as it is here....WOW it is gorgeous!! It was in the 80's for the second day in a row today!! Makes it a tiny bit warm at work, and a tiny bit warm in the stamp room, but to not have to wear a coat outside, I will deal. Remember I said this when I am whining about how hot it is, by the way!!

For my card today, I decided to play along with Mercy's Sketch for this week. I {heart} her, and her sketches....not that you didn't know that already!! My image, from the Hunny Bunnies set, was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored with Copics. I stamped my carrots separately, and then cut them out. My image is layered with Bashful Blue and Pumpkin Pie. My DP is from the SU Delicate Dots and Summer Picnic packs. Ribbons and brads are from SU as well, and my spiral clip was bought through Amazon.
Well, that is it for me now! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

SFYTT Sunday

It is a rainy Sunday here in Southern Illinois, so forgive me for the crappy lighting on my card. It doesn't help that one of the light bulbs in the hall outside my stamp room went out today....you wouldn't think it would affect it, but it sure did!! I decided to take the day off from work today due to the recent loss of my Grandma. She was ill for quite some time, and had been fighting up until recently when she decided to no longer fight. It has been a roller coaster, needless to say, but I am happy that she is no longer suffering. With all that in mind, I decided to take the day and have a little stamping therapy session. So far, so good. I won't say that I have been as productive as I would have liked, but one card done is good enough for me.

I made this card using this weekend's Sketch For You To Try. I started by stamping my chicks from the My Favorite Things, What's Crackin'? set on an MFT Perfect Panel. I actually stamped the girl chick directly on the panel, and stamped the boy on another. I masked his body to add the legs and after coloring them both, I added the boy on. My image was cut out using my Circle Nestabilities, and layered with Sour Apple, Cotton Candy, and Banana Split.....yummy. My DP is from the Spring paper pack from MFT, my buttons are from the Spring collection, and my ribbon is from the Perfect Plaid collection. My brads came from Michael's and my spiral clips are from Amazon. The sentiment I used is actually from another MFT set. It is from the Pure Innocence, My Basket of Eggs set.

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the set, added more DP and brads, and it was done!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Clean Sketch

Well kids, it's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and I am LOVING this week's challenge....it's a sketch after all!! This week's challenge(C4C30) was posed by Barbara, and it is so clean and simple....well, it should have been. I am proud, I didn't veer too far off the challenge, but I just can't do clean and simple...it hurts too much, lol!!

For my card today, I started by stamping my Pure Innocence - Boy & Dog - Doge Gone Cute image on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored it with Copics, and layered it with Bashful Blue. I added my SU ribbons, and Michael's brads...as well as some piercing to those layers. I then used my SU punches to create my circle panel. My dog(both inside and out)'s were colored with Copics as well, then cut out.

For the inside, I used more of the card stock and ribbon, and my second dog. The base of my card is Sour Apple green, from MFT as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to check out what all the other Crazies have done for this challenge!!
