A Bella Sketch

So, I am ALWAYS saying I am going to do the Bella sketch, and I never get around to it. I am still late, but I did get it done this week, lol!! I have been a stamping MACHINE up here in the mountains, and I actually managed to get 8 cards done, considering my recent funk I AM THRILLED!! All the credit goes to Jess, Mercy and Pam...they got me motivated and kept me going!! I got a VERY late start both days, but I am still THRILLED with what I got done and am actually surprised considering the fact that I was laughing hysterically for the last two days...seriously!! OMGAW!!hehe.

Anyway, here is my card for this week's Bella sketch. I started by stamping my Appley Bowl Huggabugg on an MFT Perfect Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black. I then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Bashful Blue, Real Red and Old Olive Cardstock. The DP is from the Summer Picnic DSP that is retired from SU. All my ribbons are from SU, and my spiral clip is from Joanne's.
Well, that is it for me now!! I will be back tomorrow with my Celebrating MFT Day/MFT Sketch card!! Have a good one!!

Crazy 4 Challenges Week 3

Hey everyone!! As you are reading this I am having the BEST time in Georgia with my stamping friends, Jessica Diedrich, Mercy Kerin and Pam Varnell!! It is so awesome to put faces and personalities with names...and they are all three even more awesome in person than I would have ever hoped for!! The drive was long, but it was SO worth it!!

It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and it is another FABULOUS sketch by Cindy Haffner!! After seeing all the AWESOME sets released from Our Craft Lounge I HAD to pick some of them up!! The first one that I HAD to get was Ghostly Greetings. I stamped the Ghost twice on an MFT Perfect Panel and cut one out and popped it up. I did add a little bit of a shadow with my BG10 Copic. I layered it with Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black and did some piercing. The sentiment was stamped directly on the main panel. My Dp is from Bo Bunny, and so are the buttons. The Gina K. White panel was run through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. All the ribbons are from SU, and my Spiral Clip is from Joann's.
That's it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Happy Haunting!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you all had a fabulous day!! I had my first day back to work and it was AWESOME. I know, I'm crazy right? Honestly though, it felt so good to be back and I had a BLAST hanging out with my old co-workers, and some new ones!! It was also REALLY nice that I hadn't forgotten much and got right back to work like I hadn't missed a day...yayyy! I did get "initiated" rather harshly, but what happened is TOO GROSS for me to post on here!!LOL!!
I decided to stamp tonight, so I started with today's SCS sketch challenge. I stamped my image 'from the Trick Or Treat With Who's That Girl set from My Favorite Things on an MFT Perfect Panel. It was colored with Copics, except her dress and the floor which were both paper pieced with some YUMMY Basic Grey Eerie DP. I used more of the BG DP for the two panels, and the colors are Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. I used SU ribbons on my spiral clips from Joann's, and I also used some silver mini brads from Making Memories. The sentiment was stamped and then punched out using my SU oval punches.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Lots of News!!

First of all, I know you have probably noticed, but my blog posting has become nothing but erratic in the past few weeks. I have had a lot of things going on in my life, and a lot of changes are happening. Luckily, I am actually aware of them this time and they are mostly for the good!! First of all, I FINALLY found a full time job. Since my divorce, I have been living with my Dad which is fine, but not what I want. I desperately want to be out on my own and taking care of myself. I already miss my nephew, but watching him just didn't pay the bills if you know what I mean. So tomorrow morning, in fact, in 8hrs, I start working again and I am THRILLED. I am going back to my old job that I had a couple of years prior to my divorce. I am also excited about this weekend!!! I am going on a little stamping retreat with Mercy Kerin, Pam Varnell, and Jessica Deidrich....it is gonna be a BLAST!! I am SO EXCITED that I can't sleep!! So I decided I should stamp, something I have had a really hard time with here lately. I don't know if it is all the changes, the stress of finding a job, the fact that I am trying to have a life, or what, but my mojo has been iffy at best. With that said, and before anyone says anything, I LOVE THIS CARD. It actually came really easily and I love the way it turned out.
I used both the Mojo Monday sketch from this week and this week's There She Goes Challenge, to Pop it Up!! I stamped my flowers and stems and leaves from the Side By Side set from TSG on an MFT Perfect Panel. The flowers were stamped directly on the diecut panel and seperately so that I could cut them out. I colored them with my Copics, and then popped them up. The colors on my card are Really Rust, Mellow Moss and More Mustard. The DP is from the retired SU Autumn Vine pack. My buttons are from SU, and my brads are from Making Memories. The ribbons are SU and the clip is from Joannes. For my sentiment, I used one from the Bloom set.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I then layered it with Regal Rose and Rose Red. The DP is from SU and is of the same colors as the Cardstock. The base is Gina K. 120lb white. My Favorite Sketch

Hey everyone!! It's time for another My Favorite Things sketch challenge. This week's hostess is Frances, and she has come up with a ROCKIN' sketch for us to play with!! For my card, I decided to use the super cute new Too Cute To Spook set from My Favorite Things. It was designed by Stephanie Fizer, who I love!!

I stamped my tree from the set on an MFT Perfect Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then layered it with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Eggplant Envy. I then used my Hotfix Crystal Applicator and some yummy MFT Spooktacular Swarovski Crystal Adornments to decorate the tree and sentiment. All my ribbons are from SU, as well as the circle punches used for the sentiment. I used my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties for the circle panel underneath. The DP is some more of the Basic Grey Eerie Line. The spiral clip is from Joanne's.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!( I will link the challenge as soon as it is posted!!)

Naughty Can Be Nice

I have been up really late here recently for some unknown reason, and so I decided since I was up, I might as well participate in the SCS sketch challenge!! I also decided to do the color challenge. Since I have been having some motivational issues, I figured this would help out a ton(to already have the colors and sketch chosen for me). I also knew I wanted to use this SUPER CUTE new set from My Favorite Things called Party Girl, so the card basically made itself!! Thankfully, I am LOVING it!! I know some people question it when I say I have lost my mojo- and for different people that means different things. I can still stamp and produce cards when I say I have lost my mojo, but I have to force myself to make them and I am seldom ever happy with the end results. It can be a lovely card, but if I have to make myself make it, it is always just a little off in my mind. So please don't think I am looking for sympathy, or whining, or asking for input on my work, cause it isn't that...I just sometimes feel a little off, and this is the only place(besides Facebook, hehe) that I can vent about it!! Know what I mean??

Anyway, I started by stamping my Party Girl on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored her in with my Copics. I then layered her with the color challenge colors, Eggplant Envy, Old Olive and Basic Black. I then used the same colors for my base including some Gina K. White. The DP is from the Basic Grey Eerie series that I just picked up at Archiver's while I was out of town last week. They had some of the CUTEST Halloween stuff and I bought WAY to much of it!! All my ribbons and brads are from SU, as well as the punches used to make the sentiment. I also used a spiral clip from Joanne's.

Since today is Wednesday, Amy has posted a FABULOUS tutorial for you in the How'd They Do That section of the MFT member forum on SCS. On top of that, we revealed our super cute new Kit of the Month today!! Meet Mr. Roboto!!

Some More TSG!!

So, since I missed the There She Goes release last week, I am still playing trying to play catch up!! I decided to knock out two sketch challenges while I was at it too, so here goes!! My first card was made using the new Side By Side set.
I started with Taylor's Sketch Challenge from Friday. My main image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored with my Copics. I used Sage Shadow, More Mustard and Really Rust to layer it. The DP is from the retired Autumn Vine DSP. I used my SU circle punches to make my sentiment panel except the actual sentiment. It was cut out and then I used a small corner rounder to round the edges. The ribbons are all from SU as well as the brads.
For this next card, I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch. I started with the new TSG mini set, Ice Cream. I started by stamping my sunday on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored it in with my Copics. After cutting it out, I added Crystal Effects to the chocolate, spoon, and dish.
My cardstock colors are Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip. The DP is from the Sweet Always DSP pack from Su. I added some SU chocolate brads and SU ribbons as well. There was also a ton of piercing on this card, but I am sure you are not shocked!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Have A Fairy Good Day!!

I was sick last week during the There She Goes release, so this is my first time playing with this SUPER cute new Fairy Good Day set! It is one of my new FAVORITE sets from There She Goes and is perfect for anyone with little girls!! I decided to play catch up and use Mercy's sketch from last week for my card. I stamped the little fairy twice on an MFT Perfect Panel.
I colored the wings on one and the body on the other with my Copics. I then cut out the body and layered it on top of the colored wings to give it some depth. The DSP is from the retired Bella Rose Pack and the cardstock is Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!! Be sure to check out the new There She Goes blog as well, it is FABULOUS!!
