Parisian Harvest-MFTeaser!!

So, I am back today with another MFT teaser, and yes, I am using my new FAVORITE Annie LaPoint image, again!! I just can't get over how GORGEOUS it is!! Seriously, it is amazing, and SO FUN to color!! I started out by stamping my image on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then I colored it using my Copics. I then cut it out with my Circle Nestabilities and layered it with Bravo Burgundy. I stamped my sentiment directly onto my circle. For the base, I took Bravo Burgundy, So Saffron, and Pink Pirouette and layered them. Next, I put a piece of Gina K. White, and then used 4 square pieces of Parisian Summer DSP. The ribbon is from May Arts, and my brads are some that I bought at Hobby Lobby. I got asked the other day about my piercing and the answer is yes, I do use a template. I use the Mat Pack from Stampin Up as my template, except for circles and ovals. For those, I emboss my shape, since they are always cut out with my Cuttlebug, and then follow the embossed line free hand. Sometimes I am a little off, but I don't mind!!
Don't forget to come back tonight for the mid month HOP around the blogasphere!! Also, since it is MFT's 3yr anniversary, all the Bubble Bin sets are on sale for $3 this week, that is a HUGE savings, so you better get there and quick!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!

SU ONLY!!WAHOOOO!!!

Yep, you heard me right, I FINALLY got to use an SU stamp!! It's not that I don't have plenty of opportunities, I just always seem to grab other stuff...well, not tonight!! I actually used ALL current merchandise too...but almost screwed it all up(it's always the DP that gets me)!! I am so bad about keeping up with what is current and what isn't, but I am hoping that with SU going back to one a year catalogs, that I won't have that problem anymore...wish me luck!!LOL!! Anywho, this is my card for today's Technique Lover's Challenge. It was to make a faux grid. I stamped my image from the SU Ever After set on a piece of Whisper White, and drew my grid with my Basic Black stamping write marker. I then colored the image with my makers, ink pads, and a blender pen. I used some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, and paired it with Old Olive and Melon Mambo. The ribbon is white organza from SU, and the brads are from SU as well. I used a sentiment from Sincere Salutations, and punched it out with my scalloped oval punch. My layout is also today's Mojo Monday sketch!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Little Paper Shop Monday

Hello everyone, and welcome BACK!! This card is my entry for this week's Little Paper Shop weekly blog challenge. This week's challenge was another sketch, and you KNOW how much I love those!! I started it by stamping my Topiary image on an MFT Perfect Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black. It was then colored in with my Copics. The image was then layered with Perfect Plum, Eggplant Envy, and Always Artichoke. My white layer is Gina K. 80lb. white, and the DP is from the VERY retired Cambridge DSP from SU. All the brads are from Hobby Lobby, and the ribbon is from SU. I did some piercing, and then slightly altered the sketch by adding my sentiment panel. It was punched out with my SU oval punches.
Be sure to check out the LPS blog for more details and to see peeks of their new sets..I am LOVING them!!

MFTeaser- Harvest Of Hope

It is time for the mid month My Favorite Things release, and FINALLY, Annie LaPoint is back with a new stamp set!!! I am THRILLED!! I was always a fan of the Who's That Girl? images, but Annie's cute little bathtubs and flower pots just make me HAPPY!! This month's set is GORGEOUS! I paired it with the MFT Spring Paper Pack. The wheelbarrow image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black. I then colored it with my Copic markers. The image was layered with Certainly Celery and Pretty In Pink. My ribbons are from both the Spring Ribbon Nest, and the Royalty Ribbon Nest. The spiral clips are ones that I picked up at Joann's, and the brads are from Hobby Lobby. I used my SU punches to make the sentiment panel.
Did you see the sale at MFT right now? To celebrate MFT's 3rd Birthday, all the sets in the Bubble Bin this week are $3!! Better get them while they are hot!!
Come back tomorrow when I will have another teaser for you, and then tomorrow night we will have the mid month blog hop starting at 9pmEST, and then the sets will be on sale at midnight!! WOOHOO!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

FS127 Butterfly Wishes

So, I don't normally use the same DP two days in a row, but today I just couldn't help it!! When I saw this card by this week's Featured Stamper, I just had to use it again!! This week's FS is Kelly, aka schirmcat, and she is a super cute and talented stamper!! She always leaves the nicest comments, and I love her style!! For my card, I used the new Butterfly Wishes set from the Greeting Farm. It was designed by my girl Jessica, and I just LOVE it!! For my card, I changed the image, changed from an apple to a butterfly, did white not cream, added layers and piercing, and changed the embellishments. Basically, same layout different everything else!! I stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. White and then layered it with Riding Hood Red. The base is also RHR, then layered with Pink Pirouette, and Gina K. White. The DP is from the Bella Rose pack from SU, which is sadly retired. All my buttons are SU as well, the white is from the Latte collection and the rest were from the Bouquet collection. The butterfly was cut out with my SU butterfly die, and the circles were done with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Thank You For Your Kindness

I think this new set, Garden Gate, from the Little Paper Shop is just too cute, so I had to use it again!! The image was stamped on an MFT perfect panel, and then colored with my Copics. I did paper piece the table....talk about a small space, LOL!! I used more of the DSP on the base. The colors are Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Chocolate Chip. All the ribbons are from SU, and the brads are from Making Memories(bought at a scrapbook store in Nashville, In.). I used my SU Circle punches for the sentiment and did a ton of paper piercing. Sorry for another short post, but it is late and I NEED to get to bed!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!

A Prettie Sketch

This week's Paper Pretties Weekly Challenge is a sketch challenge drawn up by our fabulous Danielle. She is a ROCKIN sketch artist, and just a ROCKIN artist period!! For my sketch I chose to use one of my favorite Prettie stamps, Simply Special. The watering can was paper pieced with some Parisian Breeze DSP and the rest of the image was colored with my Copics. I used my SU scallop punch for the DP circles. The colors on this card are Chocolate Chip, Kraft, and Baja Breeze. The ribbon is from the retired Valet Ribbon Originals. I am in a huge hurry this morning, so be sure to check out this thread for all the details about the challenge and to play along!! Thanks for stopping by!!

My Favorite Challenges Thursday!!

Hey everyone, are you as ready for the weekend as I am?? What is it about the week that makes it DRAG on and the weekend goes by so quick you blink and it is Monday again...so frustrating!! I know it is twice as long, but still...can't it go by a LITTLE slower?? On that note, how on EARTH did it get to be July already?? Geezzzz...

Anywho, today the new My Favorite Challenges are announced, and I am LOVING them!! This week's sketch is another SUPERFAB one from Cindy. I started with the SUPER cute new Catch Some Rays set. I stamped my girl on an MFT Perfect Panel and colored her in with my Copics. I then paper pieced the umbrella using some Pink Flamingo DSP, and popped it up over her head. the colors I layered her with are Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise and Regal Rose. I added some SU Regal Rose ribbon, and added my sentiment panel. It was punched out using my SU punches. I love that DSP in the background, makes me think of the sun shining down!!
My next card was made for this week's My Favorite Challenge. This week's theme is a Child Theme...and we were given two different Inspiration pieces! I chose THIS one from Pottery Barn Kids. Isn't that the cutest towel?? I love it, and I think my nieces would love it too!! I stamped my Isabelle Paper Doll on an MFT Perfect panel, along with the fish and her tail. The fish and tail were all colored with Copics and then cut out. I then colored her with my Copics and used my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties to cut her out. She is layered with Lavender Lace, Tempting Turquoise and Pink Passion. The white Satin ribbon is from SU, and the brads are from Spare Parts. I stamped the sentiment directly on my piece of DCVW Nana's Nursery DP. I glued the fish on separately, and her mermaid body, and then did some piercing around the edges.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out the new thread for all the challenge details, and to play along!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!!

Prettie Wednesday-Moving

So, two week's ago, Jana challenged the Prettie Girls, and all of you to get MOVING!! She said that we could take that literally or figuratively, but to make sure our cards were about moving. Well, since you all know how much I HATE to do technique-y cards, I decided to use our new Home Sweet Home set, which is part of our new Fat Cat Stamps line designed by my fellow Prettie Girl Danielle, and MOVE. I started by stamping my boxes on an MFT Perfect Panel and then I colored them with my Copics. They were then layered with Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and So Saffron. The layers and main image were cut out and embossed using my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties. The DP is from the SU Haiku pack that is now retired...so sad. I added some silver brads, lots of piercing, and some SU ribbon. the white panel, and sentiment are Gina K. White(80lb). The sentiment was punched out with my Word Window punch. Anyone need this card, let me know and it is YOURS!! I am not moving, no matter how much I WANT to, lol!!

It is my turn to issue the challenge this week, and I decided on a sketch challenge. So, if you are like me, and can't resist a good sketch, please play along!! We would love to have you!! You can click on the picture to make it bigger, but it is pretty self explanatory!!

Well, that is it for me now. Be sure to check out what the other Pretties have in store for you!!!
