Little Paper Shop Sketch

I am LOVING the Little Paper Shop challenges posted every Monday on the LPS blog, and I think there is a prize this week since it is their anniversary month, so woohoo!! I don't know about you, but I like to win free stuff, LOL!! For my card, I followed the sketch using my Chick in Egg digital stamp. I paired it with the sentiment from Blessings. The DP is from Imaginesce and is part of the Twitterpated line. I added a spiral clip with some Celery ribbon, and some Celery brads to the top. The other ribbon is red gingham from SU and some white that was sent to me from my girl Julie!! I colored the image with my Copics. The colors on this card are Certainly Celery and Real Red.
Well, that is it for me for now, thanks for stopping by again!!

Who's That Girl Monday!!

It has been FOREVER since I was able to play in a Who's That Girl Monday challenge from the My Favorite Things member company forum on SCS, and I am super excited to finally get back to them!! This weeks challenge is to use You Take The Cake and embossing. I stamped my Who's That Girl holding the cake on Gina K. white with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored it in with my Copics and layered it with So Saffron, Cameo Coral, and Kiwi Kiss. The DP is from the Walk in the Park pack from SU. I followed Jen's SFYTT from this weekend too. The embellishments are all from SU as well, except my spiral clip. The sentiment was embossed with Black Embossing Powder.
Now, for some MFT news!!
Have you been to the Bubble Bin??
A whole new batch of GREAT deals on GREAT sets!
Each Monday new sets will be added to the Bin and the current ones will be removed.
Some sets will rejoin the site at regular price and some will disappear forever.
In either case, check back each Monday to see what's in the Bin for that week, and if there's something you *need*, this might be your last chance!
Don't forget, we are in week 7 if the MFT Idol Competition!! These girls are FIERCE!! Voting will be open on Tuesday at 10pmEST, I can't wait!!
That is it for me now!! Have a happy Monday!!

Flopsey Sketch

Isn't this new Flopsey with Flowers so CUTE!! It was released this past Wednesday by My Favorite Things and it is ADORABLE!! I didn't have it in time to preview with the release, so as soon as I got it, I decided it would be the first stamp I used from the new releases. I decided to use it with this weeks MFT Sketch Challenge. I stamped Flopsey on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. He was then colored with my Copics and cut out. I popped him up on another piece of Gina K. White and layered that with Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss cardstock. The base is the same colors, but the white was run through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. The DP is from the SU Bella Rose pack. My sentiment was stamped on Gina K. white also and then punched out using my SU large oval punch. I then layered it on my circles that were punched out with my SU circle punches. The brads and ribbon are both from SU.
Have you been keeping up with the MFT Idol competition? We are down to 7 and let me tell you, the competition is FIERCE!! Seriously, I have a real fear that one or more of these girls are going to steal my spot...they are SERIOUSLY rockin' the competition!! Each week there is a voting poll on SCS in the Member Company forum, so be sure to go vote!! The next time to vote is April 7th at 10pmEST. Good luck to all the remaining contestants!!

Inspirational Cupcakes

Today's Inspiration Challenge, was to chose something from the French Bull website to be inspired by. I chose these plates, mainly because I loved the colors and the patterns. Since I haven't had hardly any stamping time this week, I decided to pair this challenge with this week's Cupcake Sketch and the Limited Supplies challenge. I stamped my SUPAH cute image from the Taylored Expressions Sweet Spring set on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored it in with my Copic markers and cut and embossed it with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. The DP is from the Pink Flamingo DSP from SU. My one CS color, as per the LSC, is Tempting Turquoise. I used my three embellishments-brads, ribbons, and spiral clips. Well, that is it for me now!! I need to get to bed or I am not going to be able to get up in the morning!!Thanks for stopping by!!

Here are some more RAK's that I have received!!! I hope to do some stamping tonight after work, wish me luck!! These are all from some of my fellow Prettie Girls...if you notice, there is an "adhesive" theme. I know that they did it on purpose, but I can't tell you how TRULY symbolic it is to me. You girls are the glue that holds me together...I love you guys!!

By Carole Burrage

Yesterday, I went to the eye doctor to get my eyes dilated....ya, no stamping for me, lol!! I really needed to get some stuff done tonight, but I just can't see all that well still, so I am going to show you part of the MASSIVE amount of RAK's I have received over the last few weeks. During my difficult time right now, I really NEEDED the support and love that all my friends from the stamping world have shown. I have been SHOWERED with gifts and card full of love and kind words. To each and everyone of you, you have NO IDEA what that means to me. You truly make me proud to call myself a stamper. I promise to share more later about the situation...promise!

Splish Splash- a New SOTM is Here!!!

Hey everyone and welcome to another preview day with Paper Pretties!! Today's preview is actually my Prettie Wednesday entry too.

Two weeks ago, Frances, challenged us to make an ATC. I know it is cheating a little, but when I saw this SUPAH cute image, the NEW Stamp of the Month Splish Splash, I decided that I would use just her on my ATC. Unfortunately, I stuck her to the finished card before I got a chance to take a picture...nice. My ATC is the panel with her and the spiral clip, the rest of the card is some Pink Flamingo DSP, Cameo Coral, and Tempting Turquoise. I added some large silver brads from SU, and my sentiment was punched out with my SU oval punches-including the new scalloped oval punch!! The image was colored with my Copics, and all the accessories are from SU, except the spiral clip. Don't forget about the release party tonight at 6pmCDT at the Paper Pretties forum!!
Check out the rest of the Pretties to see what they have come up with!!

For those of you that don't know, this set is in honor of fellow design team member, Carole's son Carter...he is such a cutie and a real trooper!! He has CP and this is a program that he participates in every year that is so helpful and beneficial to him. I decided to use some of the Nana's Nursery Baby Boy pack for my Carter. I paper pieced his jammies and his blanket. The slippers were colored, cut out, and popped up. I paired the DP with Not Quite Navy, Barely Banana, and Wild Wasabi. The rest of the Carter image was colored with my Copics and the brads are from the SU Soft Subtles pack. The ribbon is from the SAB ribbon set.
