Here are some more RAK's that I have received!!! I hope to do some stamping tonight after work, wish me luck!! These are all from some of my fellow Prettie Girls...if you notice, there is an "adhesive" theme. I know that they did it on purpose, but I can't tell you how TRULY symbolic it is to me. You girls are the glue that holds me together...I love you guys!!
Thanks again for stopping by!!

Yesterday, I went to the eye doctor to get my eyes dilated....ya, no stamping for me, lol!! I really needed to get some stuff done tonight, but I just can't see all that well still, so I am going to show you part of the MASSIVE amount of RAK's I have received over the last few weeks. During my difficult time right now, I really NEEDED the support and love that all my friends from the stamping world have shown. I have been SHOWERED with gifts and card full of love and kind words. To each and everyone of you, you have NO IDEA what that means to me. You truly make me proud to call myself a stamper. I promise to share more later about the situation...promise!

Splish Splash- a New SOTM is Here!!!

Hey everyone and welcome to another preview day with Paper Pretties!! Today's preview is actually my Prettie Wednesday entry too.

Two weeks ago, Frances, challenged us to make an ATC. I know it is cheating a little, but when I saw this SUPAH cute image, the NEW Stamp of the Month Splish Splash, I decided that I would use just her on my ATC. Unfortunately, I stuck her to the finished card before I got a chance to take a picture...nice. My ATC is the panel with her and the spiral clip, the rest of the card is some Pink Flamingo DSP, Cameo Coral, and Tempting Turquoise. I added some large silver brads from SU, and my sentiment was punched out with my SU oval punches-including the new scalloped oval punch!! The image was colored with my Copics, and all the accessories are from SU, except the spiral clip. Don't forget about the release party tonight at 6pmCDT at the Paper Pretties forum!!
Check out the rest of the Pretties to see what they have come up with!!

Okay, now onto my card!! For my peek, I used the new Cuddle Up Carter set. It is our newest charity set with $2 from every set purchased in the next 6 months going to benefit kids with Cerebral Palsy via the non-profit Euro-Peds clinic (http://www.europeds.org/) in Pontiac, Michigan. For those of you that don't know, this set is in honor of fellow design team member, Carole's son Carter...he is such a cutie and a real trooper!! He has CP and this is a program that he participates in every year that is so helpful and beneficial to him. I decided to use some of the Nana's Nursery Baby Boy pack for my Carter. I paper pieced his jammies and his blanket. The slippers were colored, cut out, and popped up. I paired the DP with Not Quite Navy, Barely Banana, and Wild Wasabi. The rest of the Carter image was colored with my Copics and the brads are from the SU Soft Subtles pack. The ribbon is from the SAB ribbon set.
Well, that is it for me now!! Off to FRANCES' BLOG!!

For my card today, I am using the newest MFT presents set, Cuddle Up Carter.
This is our newest charity set, designed for fellow DT member Carole's son, with $2.00 from every set sold over the next 6 months going to benefit kids with Cerebral Palsy via the non-profit Euro-Peds clinic (http://www.europeds.org/) in Pontiac, Michigan. I stamped the train from the set, and colored it in with my Copics. I then layered it with Riding Hood Red, Ballet Blue and Wild Wasabi. The DP is from the K&Co. Hopscotch pack. I paired it with some white brads from SU along with some retired Wild Wasabi ribbon. The frog was stamped and colored separately and cut out. Isn't it cute!! For my peek today, (well, not so much a peek, but DEFINITELY a GORGEOUS stamp FINALLY being released to the public) I used last month's Stamp of the Month-Sophia Ballerina. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. White and colored her in with my Copics. I paired her with some yummy Pink Flamingo DSP from SU. The ribbons are both from SU, as well as the brads. I did a lot of piercing, and used my SU scalloped edge punch for the center strip. I think I was channeling my inner Jodi for this card, she is such an inspiration to me!!
That is it for me now, thanks for stopping by!!

Little Paper Shop Monday Challenge

Scroll down one post for my There She Goes Blog Hop post!!

Every Monday on the Little Paper Shop blog there is a challenge posted. I have a bunch of LPS stamps and I have ALL the digital images, so I like to use this challenge to use them!! GO me!hehe!! Anywho, for today's card, I used this weeks challenge, which was a color challenge(LPSC09). The challenge was to use Riding Hood Red, Kraft and Chocolate Chip. I used my Katie Swing digital image and colored her in with Copics. The DP is from the Slumber Party DSP from SU(thanks Officer Jacque!!). I used both the Bouquet and Latte Buttons from SU, all of which have some linen thread put through them. The ribbons are both SU, but the spiral clip is from Creative Express. My sentiment was stamped directly on the DP with Memento Rich Cocoa. The sentiment is from the LPS set, Bound By the Heart. I love this set because you can fill in the blank with whoever you are giving it too(ie. Mom, Dad, Mother, Father...).

Well that is it for me now!! More to come later!!!

The Final Day!!

My blog is gonna be pretty busy today, so be sure to keep checking back for posts!!(There should be 4, yikes, I know-I promise not to make a habit of it, but it's release time baby!!!)

Today is the final day of the There She Goes pre-release blog hops!! Today's hop started at Jessica's blog again, and after you get done here, you need to go to Joanne's blog to continue on the hop. Three new sets are being released on April 1st, and they are SO CUTE!! Want a chance to win one of the new sets? I thought so!! Just be sure to comment on all the Trendsetters blogs and then go back to Jessica's blog and put your name in the Mr. Linky box provided!!
Today's peek is of the new set, Tastes Like Chicken...it is HYSTERICAL!! Maybe it is the country/small town girl in me that can really appreciate this set, but man I LOVE it!! When I saw this image, I started crackin up. For those of you that have never been in a rural area, I have seen toilets as planters, tires, and actual bed frames sticking up out of the ground...people are nuts, what can I say. I decided to use the toilet image for that very reason! I stamped the toilet on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers. The image was then cut and embossed with my Cuttlebug and Circle nesties. I then layered it with Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Pretty in Pink. The color combo was this past week's SCS color challenge hosted by my pal, and fellow Trendsetter, Jodi- blame her!! For the base and center panel, I used some Walk in The Park DSP-seriously YUUMMMMYYYY!! The white brads are from American Crafts and the ribbon is from SU. I punched my sentiment out with my Scalloped Oval punch and large oval punch. The sketch is actually from this week's Featured Stamper, JustPaintingAround...super talented chick!!
Well, that is it for me for now...like I said before, lots goin' on 'round here today, ya know!!hehe
Off to Joanne's blog...and incase the chain is broken, here is a list of all the participants in order!!

Day Two- Tweeterpated!!

Today is the second day of the There She Goes pre-release blog hops!!
For my card today, I used the new Tweeterpated set to make a baby card for some friends of mine that just had a baby girl!! I stamped the sentiment, dotted swirls and flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. white card stock. I used my Copics to color the flowers(there are actually two of them there connected by a brad). The sketch is this weeks Weekend Sketch Challenge, designed by my girl Charmaine. I used my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities to cut it and it's Certainly Celery layer. The other color of card stock is Regal Rose, and the DP is from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl pack. My ribbon is from SU, as well as the brads. I added some Icicle Stickles to the dots, though now I wish I hadn't have...oh well!! Well that is it for me now, off to Joanne's blog!!
