Who's That Girl Monday-and a TEASER!!

Hello, everyone! It is time for another My Favorite Thing release and this month there are four sets that are TO DIE FOR!! I had so much fun creating with these sets that I stamped until the wee hours of the morning last night...I am exhausted today but it was so worth it!! For my peek today, I decided to also play in the Who's That Girl Monday Challenge. This week Joanne and Christina have a challenge I(and they) think you'll love! (these are their words exactly, why rewrite perfection right!!) Why, you ask? Well, because it's a wild card -- YOU get to choose and use your favorite Who's That Girl set! The challenge, however, is this: Use the MFT Colors (black, pink, and white)!Use keyword MFTWTG33 when uploading. Upload your creations by midnight Wednesday, 5/6 for a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to My Favorite Things!

Since we could chose our favorite, I decided on my NEW favorite, Girl's Day In. I am LOVING this set, seriously!! For my card, I used this past Friday's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I paper pieced the chair with some SU DSP(seriously, can't remember the name of it and I am no where near a catalog...don't worry, one of my lovely friends will tell me, lol!!). The rest of the image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored with my Copics. After coloring, I added some Crystal Effects to the wine glass to make it shiny!! I used more of the DSP in the background and layered it with Regal Rose and Basic Black. The ribbon is also from MFT, and the brads are from SU. Isn't she lovely!!
Well, that is it for me now!! If you wanna see more creations for this challenge, here is the link to the MFTWTG33 Gallery!!
Here is some more news that you NEED TO KNOW!!
Also, we are changing our Guest Designer Contest to the One-Click Contest, and know you'll be pleased! Each month, the new contest will be announced on the Sat prior to our Wed release (May 6th for this upcoming release).Projects will be created and uploaded before Tuesday, May 5th at 11pm EST, using keyword MFTOCC0509.Projects must feature the use of some MFT stamps or products, but not limited strictly to MFT stamps or products. The winner will be announced DURING our release party on May 6th sometime between 8-10pm EST.The winner will receive the FULL One-Click Collection of the unreleased sets for FREE! A value of $51.90 for May!This month's theme is Girls Day In, in celebration of all the woman we love, and all the women who deserve to feel pampered and beautiful!I think this theme will leave the possibilities wide open to see what you fabulous stampers create!Be sure to link back your creations to this thread so we can ooh and aah and be inspired!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to work with you all...hope your day is fabulous!! The hop started at Jessica's blog, so if you are just getting here, head back there to get started. When you get here, you should have come from Bonnie's blog!! Also, since today is Monday, that means it is time for another Little Paper Shop blog challenge as well!! Here are all the details!!

April showers bring May flowers, right? That's what I think! So this week's LPS Monday challenge is to simply use ANY LPS stamp set (if you have one, if not, any stamp will do) and incorporate FLOWERS on your card. One lucky winner will be chosen randomly to win a FREE digital image from the Little Paper Shop! All you have to do is leave a comment on today's post(on the Little Paper Shop Blog) telling us you've played along and you'll be entered to win! When you upload your creation to SCS or PCP, be sure to use keyword LPSC14. Thanks for playing and think Spring with this Fresh floral challenge! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Okay, onto the fun stuff!! For my card today, I used my FAVORITE Digi Image, Katie Swing, along with the new set, Growing Old. I know that the set is supposed to be used with the "older" images, but I just love mixing them up with these cute little girlie images!! My color combo is Rose Red, So Saffron, and Old Olive. I was inspired to use these colors by my SU DSP, Junior Varsity. The ribbons are both from SU, the flowers are from Michael's, and the dew drops are by Robins Nest. I colored my image with my Copic markers. I also used Taylor's Cupcake Sketch from this past Friday.

Well, that is it for me now, next stop on the hop is Allison, so head on out to her blog!! Thanks for stopping by!!

My Favorite Sketch

I know it is no secret, but I LOVE sketch challenges!! With the way I have been having to stamp here lately, I save all my favorite sketches, print them out, and use them for the whole week...so fun!! It is the BEST way to start a card in my opinion!! My favorite sketch, is the My Favorite Things sketches every Thursday...Cindy and Frances do an amazing job of coming up with fun and fresh layouts!! This week, Cindy came up with a long sketch for us to use. Wanna play along? Just use the sketch shown in this post at SCS, and upload your card to the gallery by noon on the 6th to be in the running to win a $5 store gift certificate. Be sure to use the keyword MFTSC79 when uploading too!! For my card, I used one of my favorite new Flopsey's, Tea With Flopsey. I stamped him on a MFT Perfect Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored him in with my Copics. The DP is from the Hawaiian Papaya and Pink Pirouette DSP's from SU. I stamped the leaves with both Kiwi Kiss and Certainly Celery. Those are two of the cardstock colors I used, as well as Pink Pirouette. All my embellishments and punches are from SU. Well, that is it for me now!! I will be back later with another Prettie Peek for you!!

It is time for another Cutie Pie contest!! You have until Thursday April 30th at 8pmCDT to get your entries uploaded to the Cutie Pie gallery at the Paper Pretties website. The winner will not only get to call themselves a Cutie Pie, but they will also receive all the new release stamps!!

Okay, now that that is out of the way, onto the fun new stamps!! For today's challenge, Danielle challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card that was not a standard A2 sized card...meaning not a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card. I didn't get as creative as some of my other Pretties, but I did do a 5 1/4in square card. My main image is one of THREE Sophias we will be releasing called Canadian Sophia(or Canuck Sophia)!! I stamped her on Gina K. White and then colored her in with my Copic markers. She was then cut out and embossed using my Cuttlebug and Rectangle Nestabilities. The DP's are both from SU, and are part of the Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip Patterns DSP. Those are also the colors of my cardstock. I added a sentiment panel at the bottom using my medium sized oval punch, scalloped oval punch, and for the sentiment I cut it with my paper cutter and then rounded the corners using my oval punch as well. The brads and ribbon are all from SU, and the spiral clips are from Creative Express(bought by Jackie for me at her local scrapbook store)! Be sure to blurf around and check out what GORGEOUSness my girls have created!! Sorry for the late post, it has been a long week already!! Thanks for stopping by, and I will be back tomorrow with some more peeks!!

There She Goes Day Two...an Alphabet Set For YOU!!

Here we are at day two of this month's There She Goes release, and I am still excited, how about you??!! Today we are previewing the second set of this release, AtoZ and 123. Want a chance to win this set? Comment on all of the Trendsetter's Blogs on their AtoZ sneak peek post, come back here and add your name to the Mister Linky. You do not have to have a blog to play along, you can also use the URL of your favorite online craft gallery! As with yesterday, the hop started at Jessica's blog, so head back there to get started!!
I have to admit, when I saw this set from There She Goes, I was a little scared. You see, alphabet sets and I don't get along. Even if they are FABULOUS!! This new TSG AtoZ set is exactly that, FABULOUS, but I just have the hardest time working with them. I sat and thought and though about what to do, and started several cards that ended up in the trash. Finally, I had to get up and walk away from my table. All of a sudden, I remembered this paper cube that I have had for 7yrs, yep SEVEN...and I knew exactly what I wanted to do!! I took the cube(which I know people are going to ask and no, I have no clue where it came from or where to buy one. I bought mine off a fellow SU demonstrator and I have no clue where she got them, sorry) and stamped my letters on the outside of it. I placed the letters side by side on the grid line block and used Riding Hood Red, Ballet Blue, Wild Wasabi, and Pumpkin Pie ink on them. I then tied a bow with Riding Hood Red ribbon and made a small card to go along with it. The DP is from K&Co. Hopscotch stack. I think this would make an adorable and very easy teacher gift, don't you?
Okay, that is it for me now....off to Joanne's blog!! Thanks for stopping by!!
Jessie-that's me!!
