For my card tonight, I started out with the Ribbon Carousel challenge. This week's challenge is a GORGEOUS set of pictures that my DT mate, Wendy, got off of Etsy. The theme was "peppermint", so I went with it!! I started by stamping my girl, from the new a la modes- Cocoa Cutie, on X-Press It Blending card and some Be Merry MME paper, and then paper pieced and colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Bubblegum, Wild Cherry, and Fossil. I also used Sweet Tooth. My ribbon is Satin Edged Grosgrain from the Ribbon Carousel, and I also used Maraschino and Blossom Twine. My brads are from Michael's, and my buttons are from SU. I used the NEW Oval Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics for my background, and the Mini Tabs Die-namics for my sentiment. As an added embellishment, I used the Always Time For Tea Die-namics, and cut out a cup and spoon. For a little bit of fun, I did add some White Liquid Applique to my marshmallows, to make them PUFFY!!

For the inside, I used another sentiment from that set, and some more of the paper. I also used the By the Letters Die-namics to spell out hot cocoa....which is totally making me want some, lol.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out Kim's Blog to see which other designers are participating in today's teasers.
