SFYTT Sunday

It is a rainy Sunday here in Southern Illinois, so forgive me for the crappy lighting on my card. It doesn't help that one of the light bulbs in the hall outside my stamp room went out today....you wouldn't think it would affect it, but it sure did!! I decided to take the day off from work today due to the recent loss of my Grandma. She was ill for quite some time, and had been fighting up until recently when she decided to no longer fight. It has been a roller coaster, needless to say, but I am happy that she is no longer suffering. With all that in mind, I decided to take the day and have a little stamping therapy session. So far, so good. I won't say that I have been as productive as I would have liked, but one card done is good enough for me.

I made this card using this weekend's Sketch For You To Try. I started by stamping my chicks from the My Favorite Things, What's Crackin'? set on an MFT Perfect Panel. I actually stamped the girl chick directly on the panel, and stamped the boy on another. I masked his body to add the legs and after coloring them both, I added the boy on. My image was cut out using my Circle Nestabilities, and layered with Sour Apple, Cotton Candy, and Banana Split.....yummy. My DP is from the Spring paper pack from MFT, my buttons are from the Spring collection, and my ribbon is from the Perfect Plaid collection. My brads came from Michael's and my spiral clips are from Amazon. The sentiment I used is actually from another MFT set. It is from the Pure Innocence, My Basket of Eggs set.

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the set, added more DP and brads, and it was done!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
