It's Time Again!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things Blog Hop!! This month's hop is going to be FABULOUS because we have 5 GORGEOUS sets being released that are TO DIE FOR!! Tonight's hop started at the fabulous Kim's Blog, so if you are just now getting here, you need to go back there to get started!! If you are back now, you should have come from Jody's blog where I am sure she has WOWED you with her enormous amount of talent!!
We are doing things a little different this month to keep things interesting!! For starters, from now on the person giving away BLOG CANDY is a mystery, so be sure to leave a comment on each of the hop posts to be eligible to win!! Second, instead of each and every one of us giving you ALL the details about the goings on at MFT, we have divided them up. My info this month is on the HOOK UP, and trust me, Kim REALLY IS hooking you up!! Here is the info you need!!

Hook up: Spend $75 on the MFT site between 9/2-9/4 and receive $25 in discount codes toward future purchases!

Sweet huh!! Okay, no onto my project!! For this month's hop, I decided to use the new Ghoulish Label set. I love the jars that Kim carries and the perfect little label sets that go along with them.
I couldn't find any Halloween candy yet, so I chose to use a trick I learned a long time ago from a friend. I took a sheet of Avery Address Labels and stamped the spider and skull and bones all over it in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then added the Grub sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink. You then take the label and wrap it around a Hershey's Nugget and viola!! Instant Halloween candy!! For my jar, I used some Creepy Crawly DSP from SU. I added some ribbon from the new MFT Halloween Ribbon Bundle around the belly band and then put my label on top of that. For my label, I used an MFT Perfect Panel and stamped my frame, spiders and Sentiment. I hand drew in the webs holding the spiders on, and then added Black glitter dots to their centers. I also sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink to soften them up. The ribbon around the lid is from SU. To go along with my jar, I made a 3x3 note card so I will be able to give this as a gift.
Well, that is it for me now!! The next stop on the hop is Cindy's Blog!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great time on the hop!!
