The DP is from the Riding Hood Red stack and the Hawaiian Papaya DSP. All my ribbons and brads are from SU. My cardstock colors are Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss. Take Time To Enjoy...

I love this new set from Paper Pretties called Everyday Picnic. It is so fun to color, and I LOVE the sentiments that come with it. I made this card for the Paper Pretties Stamping In Your Jammies release party.

The challenge was to use only buttons for an embellishment....you all know me, this was TOUGH!! I was a good girl though, and not only played in the challenge, but I completely followed the rules....I even used paper to go through my button holes so they wouldn't be naked!!LOL!! My DP is from the Bella Rose Pack, and all my CS(Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red) and my corduroy buttons are from SU as well. The image was stamped on Gina K. White, and then colored with Copics. Thanks goodness piercing was allowed, or I would have cried!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Just Wanted You To Know...

That There She Goes finally has Bloom back in stock!!YAYYY!! I have said it before, will say it again too probably, but this is by far and away my FAVORITE stamp set from There She Goes. I seriously have to stop myself from using it all the time...and I don't do a very good job of it, lol!!

For my card today, I used Wednesday's Sketch from SCS. The images was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. The image was then layered with Regal Rose, Rose Red, and Old Olive. All my ribbons are from SU, as well as the brads, and the spiral clip is from Joann's. I did a lot of piercing, and it was done! The DP is retired Rose Red DSP from SU, btw.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Prettie Wednesday- Vellum

Happy Wednesday everyone!! Another week half way over, WOOHOOO!! Is it just me, or is time FLYING anymore though? Anyway, Two weeks ago, Christi challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card using vellum. Well, me being me, I assumed that I had a ton of this stashed somewhere...hmmmm, nope.LOL!!

I actually went to make my card tonight and could not find any ANYWHERE!! The only vellum I could find was this Dragonfly vellum that SU carried YEARS ago. I decided it would have to work though since I needed a card by morning...stupid procrastination!! For my image, I stamped the super cute Give Thanks Sophia(from Paper Pretties) on an MFT Perfect Panel and then cut her out using my Circle Nesties. She was then colored with my Copics, and paper pieced with some Thoroughly Modern DSP. The scalloped layer is Soft Suede. I attached my vellum using silver brads. Under the vellum, there is more DP, as well as under the image. All of it is from the same collection. The ribbon is from SU as well, but the spiral clip is from Joanne's. I used this past Saturday's Sketch For You To Try for my card as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to check out the other Pretties to see what they have been up to!!

Some Bunny Is a Chocoholic!!

I seriously can not believe that I haven't posted this card yet!! I was going through previous posts and noticed that it was NOWHERE to be found on my blog. For shame!! This card was made with a past weeks Cupcake Sketch and the SUPAH cute new Chocolate Bunny set from My Favorite Things. Being the rebel that I am, not, I decided to color my Flopsey Pink. There is a huge debate as to whether or not Flopsey is a boy or girl...but ladies, no REAL bunny would be caught dead in that shade of pink, lol!!

I stamped Flopsey on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored him with my Copics. The chair was paper pieced with some Sweet Always DSP and then I cut the entire image out. The circles were cut with my Nesties. I used Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip Card stock. My ribbons are from SU, and my spiral clip was from Joanne's. I did a ton of piercing, and it was done!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Thinking of You

I wasn't going to do this, but I had absolutely no motivation to stamp today, so I decided that I would show you one of the cards that I made for the Dirty Dozen gallery. If you aren't a fanclub member, the new gallery opened on the 15th and it is well worth the money to join the club and look at these WONDERFUL and TALENTED ladies work. And let's face it, if you use the SCS website even a little you already know that the resources, the forums, and the challenges are worth WAY more than the member fee...so just do it!!
Anywho, after a certain amount of time we are allowed to show our creations on our blogs, and when I decided to do it, I knew this was the first card I wanted to show! I made this card as part of the December Obscure Holidays gallery. My card was for June 12th, which is Red Rose Day...it also happens to be the birthday of my SUPAH cute nephew!! I used the GORGEOUS set from Gina K., A Year Of Flowers. It was designed by my amazingly talented, and fellow Dirty Dozen Alumnist, Melanie Muenchinger. The flowers were all stamped with Stazon and colored with my SU markers....those were pre copic days, lol! I then cut them all out and popped them up. The leaves were made with my Martha Stewart branch punch. I used Chocolate Chip. Old Olive and Real Red. The bottom panel was run through my Cuttlebug with the Argyle folder. The sentiment, from the Gina K. Thinking of You set(Rupa Shevde), was cut out with my Cuttlebug and the label dies from Spellbinders. All my ribbon is from SU, as well as my brads.
Well, that is it for me now! Have a great day!

Nothing New....

ETA: I just saw today's LSC, and even though my card isn't new...it is new to all of you, so I am including it in that challenge, lol!! The challenge was to make a card using a summer activity as the theme. Well, for me, swimming is DEFINITELY a summer activity!!

My nephew is still here, so instead of stamping a new card, I decided to show one that I made for the Paper Pretties Stamp of The Month gallery. It used to be a private gallery, but now that it is open to the public, anything we make is fair game!! I used the SUPAH cute set, Make A Splash, and if you haven't seen the new add on set, it is FABULOUS too!! The DP is from the Slumber Party DSP that retired from SU. I used Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze DSP, and all my accessories are from SU. I LOVE this card, so I am so thrilled to let you all see it!!

Well, I better get to bed, who knows what he has in store for me tomorrow..but good news, my sister is on the mend. Hopefully she will be fully recovered and soon because she is missing him PRETTY bad!! I however am still trying to adjust to having him around. I am fine to take care of him during the day, but keeping him all night is an adjustment. Let's just say we both didn't get as much sleep as we should have...but we made up for it today with some spectacular naps!!LOL!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Peace, Love, Literature....

Usually I post on Thursday's with my card for the My Favorite Things sketch...but I am keeping my nephew right now and just never got a chance to get a card done using it. So instead, I am going to show you a little something I made using my new FAVORITE stamp set, I {heart} Books!! I am an avid reader, and although I love a good story, I absolutely refuse to read the same book twice. My mom, sister, grandma, friends, can all read the same book over and over again, but if I have read it, I don't want to read it again. Strange, I know. Well, I am pretty fond of a certain few authors, and I keep running into books at different places and I am never sure if I have read them or not. My step mom has the same problem, and to keep herself from re-buying a book that she already owns, she now keeps a list in a notebook by author of exactly what books she has purchased so that she is sure to not buy them twice......GENIUS!!!
I mean seriously, that is brilliant if you ask me!! So, when I saw this month's new set, I KNEW that I had to make myself a notebook to do the very same in! I used some retired Washington Apple DSP, and paired it with Riding Hood Red, So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie. I used my Cuttlebug and Oval nesties to cut out the sentiment and it's layers. My main image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then I colored it with my Copics. My buttons are from Basic Grey. For the spirals at the top, I used SU ribbons to decorate them...cute, huh!!
Well, that is it for me now...better head to bed(I am writing this Wednesday night) because Jared will be up early and I don't want to be exhausted!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!
Don't forget, the new MFT Kits are on sale!!
Also, this week’s spotlight with My Favorite Things is on the pearlescent watercolors and Copic markers.
From 8/12 through 8/14 save 10% on pearlescent watercolors and/or purchase a set of 36 Copic Ciao markers for $125.00.

Happy Birthday Danielle!!

Hey everyone and WELCOME to Danielle's Birthday party blog hop!! By now you should have been through the whole hop..but if you are just now starting, head on back to Jodi's blog to get started!! If you are hear now, you should have come from Jacque's Blog!!
For today, which is normally Prettie Wednesday, we decided to still do Jacque's FABULOUS color challenge, but we all made our cards for our girl Danielle!! I chose to use Canadian Sophia for mine. I masked her flags and shirt so that I could add a D for Danielle on mine!! My image was colored with Copics after being stamped on an MFT perfect Panel. The sentiment is from the Bugs and Fishes set and was punched out with my SU oval punches. The DSP is from the Thoroughly Modern DSP pack, and I paired it with the challenge colors of Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. All my accessories are from SU, except for the spiral clips.
Well that is it for me now, and you have reached the end of the hop!! So, now it is time to hop onto Danielle's blog and wish her a Happy Birthday!! Thanks!!
Here is the hop order, just incase you get lost!!
