TCP Tuesday- Go For The Gold

It's time for another TCP Tuesday challenge, and this week's challenge is to "Go For the Gold"....basically use gold, or gold accents on your card. I tend to shy away from gold, so this was a challenge for me.

I decided to go simple, and use the Dots Cutups, along with the Sassy Birthday set for my card. My paper is from an MME paper pad, and I used gold spiral clips and brads, as well as Sweet Tooth grosgrain for my embellishments. My cardstock colors are Black Licorice and Smooth White from MFT.

Here are the Details on how you can join in on the fun:

1. Each Tuesday a new challenge will be posted here on this blog as well as on our Splitcoaststampers forum and ourFacebook page.
2. If you want to play along you just upload your design using the InLinkz button below*. If you want to display your pretties on Splitcoaststampers use keyword TCPTUES258. Only the entries uploaded to the Inlinkz button will be considered for Swanky Stamper at the end of the month.
3. You must have your project posted by Monday, 12 midnight EST to be eligible to win the week’s Cat Cash.
4. Cards and projects must have at least one Cat’s Pajamas Stamp or CutUps die in the project.
5. On the following TCP Tuesday, the week’s winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10.00.
6. At the end of the month, The Swanky Stamper will be selected from all the weekly entries. The Swanky Stamper will receive some of the stamps from our next release and get to play along with us at our Pajamas Party and Blog Hop. AND… They’ll even get a special spot in the Gallery highlighting the project that won them the gig and a snazzy badge to display on their blog.
7. The Swanky Stamper will be announced the First Monday of the month on Splitcoaststampers, Facebook page and this Blog.

Dreaming of Spring

For my card today, I used the new Feline Great set, which I paired with dome MME A Mother's Love paper. My ribbon and buttons are sweet Tooth from MFT, and I also used Michael's brads and a spiral clip. For my cardstock, I used Sweet Tooth, Blu Raspberry, and Orange Fizz from MFT.

Wonderful Wednesday-Kraftin' Kimmie

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday challenge for the month of February!! And as always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! We are just LOVING seeing your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps creations!! Be sure to share them on our Facebook wall too!!

For my card today, I used the Together is Better set. A friend of mine asked if I would make a card for his wife for Valentine's Day, and he asked that it "look like them"....I don't draw, but I have just enough talent to draw glasses on them and make them look more like them....matching their hair colors was the other task, and it was done. I used some MME paper, and paired it with Berrylicious and Going Gray cardstock. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth from MFT, and I used Michael's brads. I also added a spiral clip, because that's what I do. :)

Your submission must use at least one Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp but can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until Tuesday, February 25th!! What do you think.....wanna WIN??

TCP Tuesday and SCS Lovefest!!

My card for today is for both the SCS Lovefest going on at Splitcoast Stampers, and for this week's TCP Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas.  They both had me "thinking Spring"...and boy, do I wish it would just go ahead and show up already.

For my card, I used the SUPER cute  TCP set, Flutter By. I stamped him on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with Copics. My cardstock colors are Bubblegum, Smooth White, and Factory Green from MFT. I used some Basic Grey Hey Girl paper, which I embellished with MFT Bubblegum buttons, Sweet Tooth grosgrain from MFT, Michael's brads, and a spiral clip.

February Kraftin' Kimmie Release Hop!!

We're so excited! It’s our FEBRUARY RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!! So grab yourself a cuppa joe, sit back and be prepared for some krafty eye kandy! We're going to inspire your creations with our fun, new stamps!

Lastly, we are SO excited to share a SASSY new Moonlight Whispers stamp set....GLAMOUR GIRLS!

For my card today, I used the SUPER CUTE Smarty Pants set again....I can't get enough of this CUTIE!! I stamped him on X-Press It Blending card and then colored him with my Copics. I then layered my image with Lemon Drop, Gumdrop Green, and Nightshift Blue cardstock. My buttons are the same colors as my cardstock, and all came from MFT. The ribbon I used is Sweet Tooth from MFT as well. I used this week's Crazy 4 Challenges sketch challenge for my card, which I created my background with some MME Kate&Co paper.

Kraftin' Kimmie Day Two

Welcome back to Day TWO of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps FEBRUARY previews!!! We are back with a fabulous new Moonlight Whispers stamp set!! You'll love these two SASSY girls along with the SIX fun sentiments!!

Today the Krafty Girls and I are thrilled to share with you.....GLAMOUR GIRLS!! There are lots of amazing creations on today's hop featuring both new images and sentiments from the set!! We know you are just going to LOVE these images and be inspired by all the fun designs!!

For my card, I used this SUPER cute country Glamour Girl. She was stamped on X-Press IT blending card, and then colored with Copics. I then layered her with Electric Red and Nightshift Blue. I used those colors for my cardstock, along with Smooth White. For my embellishments, I used Electric Red Grosgrain and buttons, along with Nightshift Blue and Sweet Tooth buttons. To finish, I used spiral clips and brads.

For my card today, I used this super cute kitty from the Feline Great set. I stamped him on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. I then layered him with Gumdrop Green, Electric Red, and Nightshift Blue from MFT. My Party Hat Banner is a die from MFT as well, and I Used their Sweet Tooth grosgrain. To finish, I added some brads. My paper is from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh paper pad.

Unconventional Valentines

For my unconventional valentine, I used the SUPER cute Robin Hood stamp from Once Upon a Time 1. I colored him on X-Press It blending card and then used Hot Fudge, Gumdrop Green, and Orange Fizz cardstock. I used Hot Fudge grosgrain to embellish, along with brads and a spiral clip. To make my card a valentine, I used a heart from the Love is in the Air set.

My card is also for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. It was to add glitter to your valentine, which I added to my heart, but you can't tell from this photo.

For my card today, I used the SUPER cute Love Birds set, paired with some Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper. I used Berrylicious, Lemon Drop, and Bubblegum card stock from MFT, as well as Smooth White. My buttons are also from MFT, in Berrylicious, Bubblegum, and Sweet Tooth. To finish my embellishments, I used some Michael's brads. For my main image, I used the Circle Stax Die-namics from MFT to cut it out, and layered with the Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics.

For my card today, I used the SUPER cute new Rachel Anne Miller set, Dream Big I paired it with some Echo Park For the Record paper, and used Smooth White, Gumdrop Green, Orange Fizz, and Lemon Drop cardstock. My image was cut out with the Circle Stax Die-namics from MFT, and I used Gumdrop Green Grosgrain and a spiral clip for my embellishments. To finish my card, and to meet the challenge, I used pearl brads...not my normal, but hey...I like a challenge!!

Naughty or Nice?

If you haven't already heard, we have started a new challenge blog, and I am SUPER excited to be a part of it...mostly because it's naughty, with a side of nice:) You can check us out on the Naughty or Nice blog, but for now, a bit about our challenge. 

So what do we mean by Naughty or Nice? Well, take a look at your sentiment stamps - are there any in your collection that are kind of "off-color" or a little bit racey? Pair them with a seemingly innocent image and BAM! You've succeeded in being naughty. But for those of you who cannot find a devilish stamp that fits the bill, no worries - you could be nice and post a card with our theme and you will be fulfilling our challenge parameters too!

With There She Goes closing, I really needed a place to get my snarky, naughty, slightly off color sentiments a place to hang out, and Naughty or Nice is the place!! This card was made with an image from the Shiver Me Timbers set, and paired with a sentiment from the Ship Happens set. Nothing says love like a little booty:)

I used Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious paper, along with Not Quite Navy and Jellybean Green cardstock. I used the MFT Heart Stax Die-namics, spiral clips, Michael's brads, Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and Smooth White cardstock for my base.

So, my card shows love for the booty, while also playing along in the Crazy 4 Challenge's challenge. This week's challenge is a color challenge, so be sure to check it out as well!
