Nature and Bows....

Welcome back for another totally fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got a great challenge for you again this week!! Come along and play with us!  

This week our hostess is AMANDA!! Her challenge for you this week is INSPIRED BY NATURE!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item (with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) and share it with us here! Along with this week's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge, my card is also for the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, to use bows!

Today I used my Lucas image from the KKS stamps set, Let's Dish the Dirt! He was stamped on X-Press It blending card(MFT), and then colored with my Copics. I used Banana Split, Gumdrop Green(MFT), and Electric Red(MFT) cardstock to layer him, and Smooth White(MFT) as my white layer. My paper is from the Summer Fresh Simple Stories paper pad. To embellish my card, I used a spiral clip, Sweet Tooth Grosgrain(MFT), and some Michael's brads.

September Holiday Krafty Kardmaking Kit Hop!!

We've had such wonderful response at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to our Holiday Kardmaking Kit, that we thought we do a little follow up HOP about it!!

As I explained above, this card was made using only items from the Krafty Kardmaking Kit. I did use the MFT Snowflakes and Open Double Scallop Border Die-namics to accent my card. My image is called Grace, and she was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with Copics.

TCP Tuesday-Paper Piecing!

Hey everyone, it is Tuesday - TCP Tuesday to be exact!  This month Alma's challenged us to do some paper piecing!! I love paper piecing, always have, so I couldn't wait to play along!!

I created this card using the new One Cupcake set. I paper pieced the cupcake holder with some MME Quite Contrary paper, then colored the rest with my Copics. I used some Lemon Tart paper from PTI, paired with Smooth White and Berrylicious from My Favorite Things. My buttons and ribbon are all from MFT as well: Sweet Tooth(both button and grosgrain), Banana Split, and Berrylicious. To finish off my buttons, I added some Hemp Cord. For the background of my card, I used the new Chevron Cutups die from The Cat's Pajamas as well.

Bewitched By You/Totally Witchin' Blog Hop Challenge

Recently, I was asked by the SUPER sweet Alma de la Rosa, from The Cat's Pajamas, to join her FABULOUSLY CUTE company's design team, The Cat Pack!!!  I of course said YES!!

She even posted the SWEETEST welcome to me on Splitcoast Stampers!! You should check it ou!!

To celebrate, I decided to make a card using the Away We Go set....appropriate, don't you think???!! So perfect for someone starting out on a new journey, amiright??!!:)

I colored my image with Copics on X-Press IT blending card, and paired it with MME Kate&Co Oxford Lane paper. I used Smooth White, Nightshift Blue, Gumdrop Green, and Lemon Drop card stock from MFT. My ribbon is Nightshift Blue grosgrain, and I used Michael's brads, and a spiral clip.

I decided to make a one layer card, because when I saw this SUPER cute bear image from the new Go With The Flow set, I wanted to make the stars float off into the sky....fun, right? I used some MFT buttons, and my card was made on Smoth White cardstock. I did paper piece the sweater with a bit of MME paper, and I used some red jute twine at the top. It's simple, but I love it!

For my card today, I paired the new Santa & Pup with my Bo Bunny Mistletoe paper pad. My cardstock colors are Red Hot, Gumdrop Green, and Smooth White from MFT. I used the Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics for my border in Gumdrop Green, some Gumdrop Green grosgrain, and a spiral clip. To add some fun, I paper pieced Santa's bag, and I used some white felt at the bottom to make it look more like snooooow.

Kraftin' Kimmie Day Three

When I saw the bear and penguin with the antlers....I'm not going to lie, I squeeee'd a little...lol!! My penguin from Just Chillin' was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with Copics. It was then cut out using the circle stax Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I used Red Hot, and Gumdrop green buttons, cardstock, and Red Hot grosgrain, along with Michael's brads and a spiral clip. My paper is from Echo Park-Holly Jolly Christmas, and was cut out using the Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics.
