Okay, so here is the OTHER card that popped in my head when I saw this color combo( as I said before, a TOTAL rarity). I used my FAVORITE image from
Paper Pretties, Simply Special. What I LOVE about this image is the fact that you can use it for just about any
occasion, whether it is a birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, it just works...am I right!!
Right now, all the Designer Paper is on sale for 50%off at
Paper Pretties, so if you haven't checked THAT out, be sure to do so!! Anyway..I stamper the
watering can twice, once on vanilla and once on my Bella Rose DP. I then cut out the can and used my
re-inkers and an
aqua painter to color the rest of the image. The flower was stamped
separately too, colored, cut out, and glued on. I used my circle
nesties to cut it out, and layered it with Kiwi and
Baja Breeze. I realized I hadn't been using my organdy ribbon much lately, so I got out the vanilla organdy I have been hoarding for years, and tied a big yummy bow. You can just barely see my sentiment at the bottom. I swear to you all, I had both of these cards done in less than an hour...how awesome is that!!
That is it for me again, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to get your entries in for the Cutie Pie contest for Paper Pretties. All entries need to be uploaded to the Paper Pretties Cutie Pie contest gallery by 8pm September 30th.
