A KKS Hop and a CYCI Sketch!

We are finally done sharing all the gorgeous new sets with you for this month's Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps release, so to finish off the release, we of course have our shop and hop! I also paired this super cute set with the new Can You Case It #149 sketch, which is quite awesome!

I channeled my inner Melanie, and well, I attempted a no lines coloring and this is what we got, so well, we won't be doing that without a ton more practice now will we!

CYCI#139-A Rainbow of Happiness

Hey there kids, and welcome to this week's Can You Case It challenge!! This week's challenge is a RAINBOW theme, and we all know I love color, so this was pretty easy for me. 

For starters, I used some of my favorite My Mind's Eye paper, but it's so old it's impossible to find and it gives me a sad. I think it's called Playdate, but I gotta be honest, this time I'm not getting up to look. I paired it with the Sweet Summer Sentiments  set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, which I still adore.  My colors are all over the place, and of course I broke out all the usual fan fare for my embellishments.

CYCI#136-Brains Sketch

Hey there party people, welcome back for another Can You Case It? challenge!! 

This week we have a FANTASTICAL sketch for you to play with, so I can't WAIT to see what you all come up with for this week's challenge!

Me, I decided to play with some more Halloween stamps! This week, I have used the SUPER cute BRAIIIINS set from The Cat's Pajamas! I used some yummy Pebbles BOO paper, which I paired with MFT Orange Fizz, Sour Apple, Grape Jelly, and Black Licorice cardstock. For my spiderweb, I used a Die-Namics from MFT, and then decorated my card with buttons from MFT, some black mesh ribbon, a cute clothespin I found at Wal-mart, and GOOOOOOOGLIE EYES!!!

I know you know, but if you're new here, I'm obsessed with googlie eyes at Halloween. They make me GIDDY!

CYCI#132-A Totally Pawesome Sketch

Hey there crafty people!! It's time for yet another Can You Case It Challenge!!

This week's challenge is an awesome sketch challenge, and I gotta say...it scared me a bit at first. It was simple, and clean, and let's face it....I make stuff that is embellished and bright and layered....so, I figured out a way!

For this week's challenge, I decided to use the A Purr-Fect Day paired with some CUTE new Doodlebug Designs paper called Kitten Smitten. I even used some of the sprinkles. I also used several dies to create my card.

CYCI#130-Celebrate, Birthday Style!

Hey there stampers, and welcome to this week's Can You Case It challenge!! This week's challenge is one that anyone can play along it....because it's a BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE!! 

If you head to the CYCI blog you will see two different graphics, one for a "Make a Birthday Card" and the other is more of a Sketch. I kind of played off of both. I was definitely inspired by the sketch, but then went on my own way....and wound up here!

My image is from the super cute Bring On The Cake set from The Cat's Pajamas! I used the Celebration Toppers CutUps, too, which make any card extra fun.

CYCI#127-You Float My Boat

Hey there friends, and welcome to my second week as a design team member at Can You Case It!! 

This week's challenge is a SUPER fun color challenge using Blue, Turquoise, and Lime Green. I immediately though of this super cute little guy from The Paper Nest Dolls, so I had to use him!!

So this is Owen with his Toy Boat, from the Paper Nest Dolls as I said above. I paired him with some fun MME paper, and embellishments in the form of buttons, brads, spiral clips, and some navy gingham ruffled ribbon.

CYCI126- Dies....Shoot For the Stars!

Hey there friends, and fellow stampers, hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! I am super excited to be posting my VERY first challenge as a DESIGN TEAM member with the fabulous crew at Can You Case It!!!

This week we have a fun DIES challenge for you, so you know I had a little bit of fun with this one...in fact, it was like an EXPLOSION of stars!!

For my card today, I used the super cute new LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, which I paired with the Star Die-namics from MFT. My paper is from Echo Park called Party Time!
