Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday post!! This card is pulling double duty this week, as it is also my sample for this month's Guest Designer Challenge for My Favorite Things. For more details about that, check out this thread here, on SCS. I can't WAIT to see what you all come up with using our "Recipe For Love". LOL!! Don't forget, the winner can get up to $100 worth of free stamps, as well as, get to post along side the DT next month during teasers and participate in our monthly blog hop!! Cool, right??!!
If you aren't familiar with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, it's a challenge I pose to myself, and all my friends and readers to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. You don't have to post ON Friday to play along, so don't worry about that, just have fun, and be sure to leave a link so I can jump around and see what you have been up to!!
For my card, I used the Amanda Baird set Love at First Sight. Apparently, I am a moron, an it is no longer available, which is just about par for my course, but it is a stamp that I own, and love, and I haven't used in FOREVER....oh well, I suck. LOL!! My DP is an old SU pack, and my card stock is all from SU.
Well, that is it for me for now....better go, before I mess anything else up. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!!

To My Favorite Secret Agent...
Happy Birthday BOOOOOOOONNNNNDDDDD!!!! LOL!!
If you are just now joining us, no, I am not having a seizure!! Today, we are celebrating the birthday of the ever fabulous, amazingly talented, wildly hilarious, and SWEET as sugar, Wendy Bond!! You may know her from her blog, Bond Girl Bliss, but if you TRULY know her...she is a TREAT!! I love her more than I can explain, so when I was asked to participate in her birthday hop I was MORE than enthusiastic!! Today's hop started at Karen's Blog...the ringleader. If you are here now, you should have come from Cath Groden's blog.
For my card, I used the super cute, Time To Celebrate à la mode set. She was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with my Copics. I used the MFT Banner Strip Die-namic, and the Banner Day Alphabet, to make my Wendy banner. She better know that I love her, because I used the LAST of my FAVORITE paper on this card...I may have a tiny strip left, but not much!! I used the Small Scalloped Border Die-namic to make my Wild Cherry scalloped layer under my FAVORITE DP panel.
For the inside, I used MORE of my favorite DP...because I LOVE her....LOL!! I also used one of my favorite sayings from the MFT set, Lovin' From The Oven.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Your next stop is Jody Morrow's blog....isn't she FABULOUS!!
To my girl Wendy:
Thank you for being there for me when I need a laugh, a cry, a shoulder, a pat on the back, a friend, a partner in crime, and some of the best advice I have ever received. I never imagined that meeting people through this little hobby(obsession), would allow me to meet people that I connect with INSTANTLY, and think of as friends....even though we've never met in person, I feel like I know you and I KNOW that we would be the BEST of friends if you were here in "real" life. I love you girl, hope you have a birthday that is as amazing as you are, and as amazing as I think you are!! HUGS and KISSES......you ho!!!

Day or Night and Sentimental Thank You BHC
Hey everyone, and welcome to the final day of this month's There She Goes teasers!! Tonight, we have TWO more sets for you to see, so head to the There She Goes blog to get started. If you are here now, you should have come from Jessica's blog!!
Torico’s newly-illustrated set “Day Or Night” showcases adorable houses along with several accents and sentiments that enhance each image, and make this home-themed set a must have for any cardmaker!
Day or Night is a 4x8 stamp set that includes a total of 34 of stamps and will sell for $18.
***
Are you dying for another fabulous set showcasing more beautiful handwriting from our very own Julie Lacey? The wait is over! This sentiment set is yet another versatile and stunning addition that you will be thankful to have!
Sentimental Thank You is a 2x6 stamp set that includes a total of 6 of stamps and will sell for $7.
Would you like a chance to win the Day or Night & Sentimental Thank You stamp set? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Day or Night & Sentimental Thank You Blog Hop Challenge post. After you have finished checking out the eye candy and have left some love, return to the TSG Blog and add your name to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Day or Night & Sentimental Thank You stamp set. The winner will be announced Saturday (Jan 29th) during the Release Party Chat.
For my card tonight, I created my little scene using four stamps from this set: the houses, two different clouds, and the sun. I colored it all with my Copics, and then layered it with Berrylicious(MFT), Crushed Curry(SU), and Ripe Avocado(PTI). My ribbon is from SU, and I used the Small Scalloped Die-namics from MFT for my scallops. My sentiment was cut out using a tag die from Spellbinders, but I cut off one end of it. I followed the Sweet Stop Sketch from this past week, as well.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great time on the rest of the hop!! Next stop, JODI'S Blog!!
