Today the girls at MFT are showing you teaser's using three of the FABULOUS new sets coming from My Favorite Things. These sets are: Dance The Night Away(Amanda Baird), Clearly Sentimental About Emerson, and Twisted Threesome. If you aren't familiar with the MFT Twisted Sentiments series, you should be!! They are not for the faint of heart, though!! Today, I decided to combine the new Dance the Night Away and Twisted Threesome set.
For my card, I started by stamping my girl on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Real Red and Basic Black. My DP is from the SU Rockabilly pack(retired). All my ribbons are from SU, as well as the brads. My clips were bought online. I used the "men" and "suck" stamps from the Twisted Set, and then punched them out using SU punches.
For the inside, I used more of the ribbon and paper, and a sentiment from each set. This card is for a friend of mine who just split with her husband. She couldn't be happier, and I think she will love this card. Girl, if you are reading this, it's on it's way!! LOL!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Head on over to Kim's Blog to see who else is going to be teasing you with these SUPER fabulous sets today!! Have fun!!

Let The Fun Begin!!
It's almost the first Wednesday of the month, so it is time for the girl's at My Favorite Things to start showing you teasers of this month's release!! Today we are previewing the new Flopsey, Basket Full Of Love, and the former kit of the month set, Love Birds. I have a soft spot in my heart for Flopsey, so I HAD to use him for today's peek!!
For my card, I stamped the new Flopsey on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copic markers. I cut the image, and it's layer, out with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nestie. My ribbons are from SU, as well as the brads. The spiral clips are from an online scrapbook store. I added some crystal effects to the hearts(both inside and out on the card). My DP, and CS are all from SU. Here is a picture of the inside....CUTE!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Head on over to Kim's blog to see what the other girls have crafted up for you to oogle!! I am sure it is going to be AMAZING!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Lollipops!!
Hey everyone, and welcome to another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge!! This week's challenge was hosted by the SUPAH talented Lori, and did I mention how darn sweet she is?? Her challenge was to make a card using a lollipop. Since this month's sponsor is The Greeting Farm, I decided to use the super cute Lolli Anya stamp. She is SO CUTE!!
I stamped her on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored her with my Copics. I had originally made this card for LAST week's challenge, then realized that I needed a lollipop card for this week, so it is ALL pink again!! I used Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, and Rose Red. My white is from Gina K., and the DP is retired SU. All my ribbons are from SU, as well as my punches, and the spiral clips were bought online. My brads came from Michael's.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to head to the C4C blog to see what the other girls have created, and check out the challenge!! Have a great day!!

Happy Spring....
I don't know about you, but if Spring doesn't get here soon, I might go crazy!! Of course, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change....at least here in Southern Illinois. What's funny is the fact that when I moved here, and I heard people say that, I didn't really understand what they meant. Now, after living here awhile, I get it!! Today it was rainy and crazy foggy....my drive home from work was VERY interesting. It looks like the setting to a scary movie out...fun!! NOT!!
My card today is for this week's sketch challenge on my friend Mercy's blog. Mercy is the most amazing person and has the most AWESOME sense of humor. I swear from the minute I get around her, Pam and Jessica I am LAUGHING non stop. I used the new My Basket of Eggs(currently out of stock) stamp from My Favorite Things. It is part of the Pure Innocence line, which I love. The images are so cute and BEYOND fun to color!! The image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel and colored with my Copics. My DP and cardstock, as well as my ribbon and brads, are all from SU.
Well, that is it for me now! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Dollar Find Friday
Here is my post from the There She Goes blog from today!! I just copy and pasted it here, but if you would like to see the original, head on over to the There She Goes blog!!
Hey everyone!! I am back with this week's Dollar Find Friday post. As you all know, I am NOT a fan of altering....well, you may not all know that, but now you do, so for my project, I try to find stuff that isn't too challenging....so I don't scare myself, LOL.
For this week's project, I decided to make a shadow box wall hanging. I picked up the frame at the Dollar Tree for, you guessed it, a dollar! I started by stamping several images from the Loads of Fun set, coloring them with my Copics, and then cutting them out. I then stamped several of the clothespins and colored and cut them out as well. Crazy right? Then, I used glue dots to attach them to my "clothesline", which is hemp twine from SU. I then used more glue dots to attach the line to the insides of the frame.
My background was made by attaching a piece of Slumber Party DSP from SU to the back of the frame. I stamped my sentiment on it before attaching it, and added some socks as a little extra something.
Pretty simple, but I LOVE it...and I can't wait to hang it on my wall, if I ever get my own place!!
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope to see you tonight at the Friday Night Chat !!

Friends With Stamps...
Welcome back!! It is my week to be featured on the There She Goes blog again this week, and for today, I have challenged you and all my fellow DT members to make a card or project using at least three different embellishments. It can be any three that you choose, and you can use as many of each as you want...but you must have three and no more!! I of COURSE chose my three favorites...Brads, Ribbon, and Spiral Clips. Yayy!!!
For my card, I started by stamping my stack of paper from the Craftier Taglines set on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored it with my Copics and cut it out using my Cuttlebug and circle Nesties. My CS is from SU, and is Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral and So Saffron. The DP is from SU as well, but is retired. I used SU brads, a spiral clip or two, and some SU ribbon. I LOVE this sentiment, and when I saw last Monday's Mojo Sketch, I knew that I had to use it!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out the TSG blog for all the challenge details, and to play along!! Can't wait to see what you all create!!

Tweet This....
So, when I saw this sentiment in the new Birdie Wishes stamp set from There She Goes....I giggled uncontrollably. Not that I have anything against Twitter, per say, but I have just never gotten into it...updating my Facebook status and blog pretty much occupy all my time. I do, however, have a lot of friends that "tweet", and I have been known to tell them, in jest of course, to "tweet this", hehehehe. For all of you that have heard that from me, this card is for you!! LOL!!!
I started by using Mercy's Sketch from Tuesday. I stamped my branch with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then, I cut it, and it's layers (Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, and Pumpkin Pie) out with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. The bird was then stamped separately and popped up. I stamped the bird with Regal Rose ink, and it's beak with Pumpkin Pie. My ribbons are all from SU, and my DP is as well(Sweet Always).
Well, that is it for me!! Have a great day!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Birthday!!
Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. This week, Lori, challenged us to make a birthday card---since I am ALWAYS late with these, the sentiment on mine is PERFECT.
I decided to use my Elegant Artsy Swirls set from Innovative Stamp Creations. They are our beginning of the month sponsor on the C4C blog. I stamped my image on a piece of Vanilla cardstock with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink, and then I sponged Bravo Burgundy on the edges to soften them. My DP(Parisian Summer) and CS(Bravo Burgundy, Pink Pirouette, and Very Vanilla) are all from SU, and the ribbon is from May Arts. My sentiment panel was created using all SU punches, and the brads are from SU as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to head over to the C4C blog to see what the other girls have created for this challenge.

My sentiment panel was created using all SU punches, and the brads are from SU as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to head over to the C4C blog to see what the other girls have created for this challenge.

Final Notebook and My Sale!!
Howdy ya'll!! LOL!! I realized today that I have shown you all the notebooks I made for my nieces, except this one!! Before I get to the details of it, I have listed a TON of Stampin' Up Stuff for sale on Splitcoast Stampers. To avoid confusion, unless it stops moving there, I am going to leave the list just posted there. Here is a link to the thread and directions on how you can get what you are wanting!!
Onto my notebook!! This is my last one to show you, which kinda makes me sad. I made it for my niece Samantha...lovingly known as Sam. She USED to be a tomboy...but when I saw her on Christmas, all she could talk about was her BOYFRIEND and I am PRETTY SURE she had on makeup....UUUUGGGGHHH!!! Anywho, I stamped my Ambitious Cowgirl from Stamping Bella on an MFT Perfect Panel. She was then colored with Copics and cut out using my Oval Nesties and Cuttlebug. Then, I layered her with Riding Hood Red and Chocolate Chip. The DP is all from SU, as well as the ribbons, corduroy buttons, and hemp twine. The white layer behind the main image was run through my Cuttlebug, as well, with my Paisley folder.
Well, that is it for me now!! Have a great day!!

Hoppin' With My Favorite Things
Hey everyone and welcome to this month's Release Party Blog Hop for My Favorite Things!! As always, the hop started at Kim's Blog...so you need to head there to get started. If you are here now, you should have come from Julie's Blog.
Are you back? GOOD!! This month it is my turn to tell you about the Triple Scoop Promo for this month...here is the info given to me by the wonderful and talented Jody Morrow to share with you!!
For my project this month, I decided to do another wall hanging. I am LOVING these!! Not only did I use the new Pure Innocence stamp, Start the Day with Whee!, but I also used a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Emerson stamp set. Since I was assigned the info on the Triple Scoop, I thought it was only appropriate, :). I started by taking a wooden oval cut out and painting it white. I then covered it with some Bella Rose DSP and sanded the edges. My image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel and colored with my Copics. I then layered it with Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. The white layer is Georgia Pacific paper cut out with my Cuttlebug and Scalloped Square Nesties. I then added some May Arts ribbon to the top and some more SU ribbon on a spiral clip. The sentiment actually hangs down a little off the bottom, and is attached with my ghost flower/button embellishment.
For my next project, I took a planner I got from the Dollar Store and covered it with DP so that it would be pretty.
I am on a mission to get more organized this year and stay ahead instead of behind, so I decided to get a planner so that I can write down everything I need to do, when it is due and all that. It will also keep my schedule straight.....between both jobs, appointments, and my social life....I need it!!
I covered the book with some My Mind's Eye Dp and then added some ribbons to hide the seam . I then stamped 2010 using the new Bling 'Bers set and cut them out. They were then attached to a white panel, which was layered with Cool Caribbean, Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie. At the last minute, I decided to add brads to each "hole". It took some time, but I like it all shiny and stuff!!LOL!! The book itself is pretty simple, but SO MUCH PRETTIER!!!
Well, that is it for me now!! The next stop on the hop is Amy's Blog. Have fun and happy shopping!!
