Hey everyone, and welcome to Forgotten Stamp Friday.....where is my card...well, it's part of my My Favorite Things teaser post for today, so be sure to head there to see it!! Not familiar with this challenge...well, you should be!! Every week, I challenge myself, and all of you, to make a card using your poor, lonely, dusty, unused, forgotten stamps. I feel guilty with the sheer VOLUME of stamps that I own in comparison to what I ACTUALLY use, so this challenge is one that helps me to ease my guilt a little. There are NO rules, just that you
a)PLAY ALONG
b) use a stamp that is either unused or owned and un-inked for 6 months
c) come back and add yourself to the linky thingy so I can see what you've done
d) be sure if you upload to SCS, that you use the keyword FSF17...that way I can find you!!
There is no time limit, this is just a jumping off point for you to get into those old stamp sets, and show them some love.
Here's a little peeky of my sample, but seriously, go see the whole thing!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Don't forget to add yourself to my linky thingy.

TSG100- Happy Birthday
This week’s challenge is being issued by our Trendsetter of the Week, Kim! She wants us to create a card that uses NO MARKERS…no Copics, no Tombow Markers…NO MARKERS AT ALL! Can you believe it? So reach for those pastels, colored pencils, or other coloring mediums that you’ve been neglecting and show them some love this week! And as always, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes no markers, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Apr 3rd). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG100 so we can check out your beautiful work!
For my card tonight, I used the Sweet Pea set which is part of the sale going on right now. Since Kim said no markers...I had to revert to some old coloring tactics...I water colored. It kinda hurt a lot. After water coloring my image with SU reinkers and an aquapainter, I layered it with Soft Sky and Wild Cherry. My DP is part of the Cosmo Cricket Modern Homemaker line. My ribbon is from MFT, and the scallops are from the Small Scalloped Die-namics.
Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!!!

MFTWSC13- My Favorite Hello
Happy Wednesday people, long time, no see!! I needed a little break from blogging and stamping, but I HOPE with the new My Favorite Things release looming near, it is time to get crackin!! Teasers start on Friday, and I am SUPER excited!! Enough about that, that's not why you are here.....nope, you are here because it is Wednesday, so that means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge. This week's sketch is another amazing one, so let's get to it!!
For my card tonight, I started by stamping both main images from my Flapper Doodles- My Favorite Hello set on a X-Press It Blending card. I then colored them with my Copics. Jelly Bean Green, and Sour Apple were used as layers, as well as Black Licorice. My PP is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey pack. I used some MFT ribbon, along with some Black Twine, also bought from MFT. My flowers were cut out using the Flower Trio and Leaf Trio Die-namics. I used my Simply Scalloped Die-namics for my scallops, and my sentiment was cut out by hand.
For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another saying from the card. For my sentiment, I used another set of dies, the Sweet Stack Die-namics. Gotta love a Die-namic you can layer!!
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have great day! Head on over to Kim's blog to see a list of the other designers participating today, and to the MFT forum on SCS for more details as well!!

SSS101....Technology BYTES!
A few days ago, we had the There She Goes blog hop, where we showed off the new Technology Bytes set that was released tonight, but I had WAY too bad a migraine to stamp with it. I had a card started, and promised to post it when I got it done....ya, that was like 15mins ago. lol!!
I am IN LOVE with the snarky and FABULOUS sentiments in this new set, and I know you will be, too.....Textually Frustrated....that's just priceless!! My phone was colored with Copics, then cut out and covered with Crystal Effects. I layered it on top of some Red Hot and Black Licorice card stock. My ribbons are from SU(the red) and MFT(plaid). I used a TON of brads, and a spiral clip from Creative Express. My scallops were made with the Simply Scalloped Die-namics. My sketch is this week's Sweet Stop Sketch.

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 16
One often wonders how they can be late for their own challenge, but when you are me....anything is possible!! LOL!! Now seriously, I am NOT late..since there are no time restrictions, but I DID plan on having this posted last night. You know what they say, though...life happens while you are busy making plans.
With that said, WELCOME MY LOVELIES to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge!! There is no time limit, this is just a jumping off point for you to get into those old stamp sets, and show them some love.
For my card today, I decided to use one of my FAVORITE a la mode sets, Groovy Girl. She was used the first month that she was released, and the poor thing has been sitting on my shelf crying since. Can't we all just get along???;) I stamped her on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her spunky little butt with my Copics. My DP is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection. I paired it with Wild Cherry, Orange Fizz, and Blue Raspberry. I used some Maraschino twine, which I bought from the MFT store. I used some white felt from MFT to make my clouds using the Cloud Die-namics. I also used part of the Sweet Stack Die-namics, and Simply Scalloped Die-namics, as well.
For the inside, I used more of the same, but I decided to use the Say What Die-namics for my sentiment. I also cut out a peace sign, so it could hang over the DP.....that was a lesson in patience right there, let me tell ya.
Before I let you run away, I wanted to give you another head's up on a sale at MFT, which ends today...run, don't walk!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Don't forget to add yourself to my linky thingy....I WANNA SEEEEEEEE!!!

My border was made using an MFT Lace Border Die-namic.

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities.
You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG98 so we can check out your beautiful work! You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges!
For my card, I started by stamping my image from the Flying By set on an X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored it with Copics, and paper pieced the rest. I then layered it with Sno Cone, and Red Hot cardstock from MFT. I used one of their flower Die-namics as well, to create my flower. My ribbon is SU, and my twine is Maraschino, also bought from MFT.
Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by, it always makes my day!!

MFTWSC11- Rainy Day Friends
Hey everyone, it is time for another My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club challenge!! I am still LOVING the all sketch format that we are now using...so FUN!!
For my card, I used an older Stephanie Fizer set, Rainy Day Friends. I just LOVE this cutesy little frog!! I paired it with some My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy paper. I stamped my image on a piece of X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I cut it out after coloring it, and then applied it to my main panel. I used dimensionals to make my umbrella POP off the page. My cardstock is Saffron, Sno cone, and Orange Fizz. Both the ribbons I used are from SU, and my brads are from Michael's.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to head on over to Kim's blog for a look at the other designers participating in the challenge today!! Thanks for stopping by!!
