FSF23- Let's Hang

First of all, I want to start out by apologizing if you are having any problems with my blog...whether it be viewing or commenting. Blogger is apparently having issues AGAIN, and I am one of the lucky ones that has been affected. I had to switch back to Internet Explorer just to get this posted!!
Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my uninked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been uninked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword...FSF23.

For my card today, I used a previously released Digital(and now part of the Creeper Kit) stamp, Jack. He is from The Greeting Farm, and you just HAVE to love him. I was in LOVE with the color combo and paper from my previous day's card, so I couldn't resist using him for Jack, too. He was printed on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I used more of the MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue paper. It was paired with Basic Grey, Night of Navy, and Crushed Curry. I used MFT ribbon, spiral clip from Creative Express, and Michael's brads.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!

RCC4-Inspirational Ribbon Cupcakes

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Ribbon Carousel Crew Challenge!!! I am LOVING this week's challenge, so much so, I made two cards for it!! You can see the other one in my post above this one! Ready to start? Here ya go!!

I love cupcakes... but ribbon cupcakes? Why not? As soon as we saw this pic on Pinterest, it just had to be an inspiration for one of our challenges.

Those juicy intense colors scream Spring! We've added LOTS of ribbon, seam binding and twine over on the RibbonCarousel.com store.

This week we have a sponsor: Our very own Sparkle Smith, owner of Sparkle Creations is offering one lucky participant, to be chosen by Random.org, Cupcake Ruby!

For my card tonight, I started by using the gorgeous Wild Sprout-Elena from The Greeting Farm. I stamped her on an X-Press it Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Blue Raspberry, Lemon Drop, and Rose Red card stock. I then used some Happily Lost paper from Lilybee Designs. My hearts were cut out using the MFT Hearts a Plenty Die-namics, and I used some YUMMY Divine Twine with my button. I had to use some more of that YUMMY ruffled ribbon...I just love it!
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!!

Splotchy Background
HOO loves you?
Creeper Abbey
&
WS Elena

We have another HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT for you today. Announcing our 2nd annual "CARDS FOR A CAUSE" event!

Last year you really brought us to tears and smiles on our faces with our 1st card drive. Due to it's success, we are rallying the troops again for a 2nd one and well, we're making it ANNUAL!

This year, we were moved beyond measure with so many emotions for the people of Japan as we watched live video of the earthquakes and tsunami that devastated so many people on March 11, 2011. It broke my heart to see videos of families in shelters, children looking terrified and not understanding what happened. Some of those families lost everything and when our loyal TGF customer Natalie Shaw emailed me a link to a school that we could send in handmade encouragement cards for children, we knew this was going to be something TGF wanted to be involved in! Our images are PERFECT to cheer up a child and we really hope you will play along!

Please view the tabbed page on the TGF Blog entitled "Cards for a Cause" for all the information on how YOU can help...and possibly, WIN some serious loot from TGF! PLEASE JOIN US!

As for 'loot' today, well, you know the drill! ONE lucky commenter who completes the hop and comes back to the TGF Blog to leave a comment will be drawn to WIN the ENTIRE May Release!

For my card tonight, since I hadn't used her yet, I decided to use the SUPER CUTE new Wild Sprout, Elena!! She is SUPER cute, and would be PERFECT for a teenage or young girl's birthday, or whatever you want!! She was stamped on an X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I then layered her, using my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties, with Taken With teal and Rose Red. My paper is form the MME Stella & Rose Gertie paper. My ribbon is from MFT, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. I used SU punches to make my sentiment panel.

Without any further adieu, here is the order of our Farmers' BLOG HOP for release day:

You will have until 11:59 pm CST TONIGHT to comment and become a follower and we will happily announce the winner tomorrow morning on the TGF Blog!

GOOD LUCK, ENJOY and HAPPY RELEASE DAY, everyone!!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to Forgotten Stamp Friday!! Not familiar with this challenge...well, you should be!! Every week, I challenge myself, and all of you, to make a card using your poor, lonely, dusty, unused, forgotten stamps. I feel guilty with the sheer VOLUME of stamps that I own in comparison to what I ACTUALLY use, so this challenge is one that helps me to ease my guilt a little. There are NO rules, just that you
a)PLAY ALONG
b) use a stamp that is either unused or owned and un-inked for 6 months
c) come back and add yourself to the linky thingy so I can see what you've done
d) be sure if you upload to SCS, that you use the keyword FSF18...that way I can find you!!

For my card tonight, I used a stamp I got from The Greeting Farm a LONG time ago, and I have NEVER used it...EEEKS...she is so CUTE!! She, part of the Miss Anya Dressy set, was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I then layered her with Red Hot and Pacific Point. My DP is old SU, and all my ribbons are from there as well. I used the Anya Says set for my sentiment.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Don't forget to add yourself to my linky thingy.

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 5

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog!! It is time for my Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge!! As some of you might have seen, I started a little "personal" challenge called- Forgotten Stamp Friday!! Basically, I am challenging myself, and YOU, to use some of those poor, dusty, neglected, forgotten stamps from your collection!! I have created my own "keyword", this week's is FSF05. Last week, I had three people play along!! Thanks to: Wanda, Kecia, and Teresa!! The only rule is to use a stamp set that hasn't been used in at least 6 months.

For my card tonight, I decided to play along in the Farm Fresh Friday challenge, as well. It is a sketch being hosted by Mercy, and you know I LOVE me some Mercy and a sketch!! I started by stamping my Flutter Anya stamp on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Berrylicious and Regal Rose. I added a tiny bit of glitter to her hearts, but I have a sucky camera, so you can't really see it, lol. For my paper, I used My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy. I cut a strip of flowers out with my Flower Border Die-namics.

For my sentiment, from the Anya Says set, I used the Hearts a Plenty Die-namic, and an SU punch. My brads are from Michael's, and my ribbon is from both MFT and SU.

Well, that is it for me for now!! I can't wait to see if you play along!! Be sure to use the keyword FSF05, or come back here and leave me a link in the comments!! There is no time limit, just be sure to use the right keyword, and have FUN!! Have a great day!!

I even broke down and placed my first order which arrived lightening fast!! For my card today, I used the super cute Ruby image. I just love her cutesy little hair and outfit. FS127 Butterfly Wishes

So, I don't normally use the same DP two days in a row, but today I just couldn't help it!! When I saw this card by this week's Featured Stamper, I just had to use it again!! This week's FS is Kelly, aka schirmcat, and she is a super cute and talented stamper!! She always leaves the nicest comments, and I love her style!! For my card, I used the new Butterfly Wishes set from the Greeting Farm. It was designed by my girl Jessica, and I just LOVE it!! For my card, I changed the image, changed from an apple to a butterfly, did white not cream, added layers and piercing, and changed the embellishments. Basically, same layout different everything else!! I stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black on Gina K. White and then layered it with Riding Hood Red. The base is also RHR, then layered with Pink Pirouette, and Gina K. White. The DP is from the Bella Rose pack from SU, which is sadly retired. All my buttons are SU as well, the white is from the Latte collection and the rest were from the Bouquet collection. The butterfly was cut out with my SU butterfly die, and the circles were done with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Then I finally got it....and boy do I LOVE this card now!! I decided to use my friend Jessica's(pinkgirl76) new set from The Greeting Farm. There will be lots of ways to WIN THIS SET throughout the week, both on Jessica's blog and The Greeting Farm, so good luck and have a whimsical day!

Sounds good right??? I thought so too!! Okay, now for my card!! I started by stamping the butterflies from this set twice. I colored all four with my Copic markers. I then cut out two of them, and the other two I punched out using a 1 1/4in circle punch. I then layered them with Regal Rose for the pink one, Pumpkin Pie for the orange, and Chocolate Chip. To give the butterflies dimension, I took the two I cut out and glued them to the circles, but just in the center so the wings could move. The DP is from the SU Sweet Always pack and my ribbon is from SU. The brads are from Creative Express. I did a bunch of piercing and it was done!! Super cute huh!! Don't you love that cute little butterfly and the GORGEOUS sentiment, I sure do!!
Well, that is it for me now, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

I Know, I Know...

The other day my Dad came into my room and asked if I could make him a graduation card for my cousin Drew who is graduating from High School tonight. I of course said yes, but knew it wasn't going to be easy. I swear, for some reason I struggle so hard with Graduation cards. I usually feel forced to use the school colors and I NEVER have an image that will work. I have never cared much for any of the Grad. sets that SU has come out with, so I have never invested in one, and the only other set that I had that had any sort of grad themed stamps in it, I sold. So, I decided to do some searching last night and I came across a card using this super cute Digital Stamp from The Greeting Farm. I had promised myself NOT to buy any new stamps for awhile, but for three dollars, it was worth it!! I still stuck with the school colors, although I used Basic Grey instead of Black. I colored my image with my Copic markers, cut and embossed it with my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties, and layered it with Basic Grey. The DP is from the Walk In The Park DSP from SU. The sentiment is from one of the older All Year Cheer sets from SU as well. I added some Basic Grey taffeta, but I didn't do much else cause I didn't want it to get to girlie!! Hopefully he likes it, I know I do!! That is it for me now, thanks for looking and have a great day!!
