MFTWSC101-Special Delivery

***if you are here to see my Kraftin' Kimmie post, please scroll down or click here!! You won't want to miss it***

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge.

For my card today, I used the super cute Pure Innocence Little Santa set. I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. I paper pieced his sack with some Crate Paper Peppermint Collection paper. I cut my flags out of the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics, and I added Michael's brads to those. My snowflakes are from the Let It Snowflake Die-namics, and I added Sweet Tooth buttons to the center using Peapod and Maraschino twine. For my sentiment, I used the new Decorative Circle Tag Stax Die-namics. I embellished it with Wild Cherry grosgrain, and hemp cord. My finishing touch was to add the Framing Flourishes Die-namics in Wild Cherry and Gumdrop cardstock.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC101 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, December 11th to play along.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the MFT blog for a full list of designers participating in today's sketch!

Kraftin' Kimmie Previews-Day 1

We are kicking off the *New* DECEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our GORGEOUS….CIRCUS TRINKETS!!!

What a FUN set of awesome new stamps....and I don't suppose it's going to be too hard to figure out what theme one of the artists worked with this month, hunh??

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the CIRCUS Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Today we have awesome samples that the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new CIRCUS TRINKETS set!!! {And just WAIT 'til you see how they combine with our other NEW December stamps!!!}

Happy kraftin'!

I started out my card by stamping my Circus Trinket on X-Press It blending card, and then coloring it with my Copics. I then stamped my image from the Snips and Snails set on X-Press It blending card, and it was colored with Copics as well. My cardstock colors are Steel Grey, Orange Fizz, Berrylicious, and Sweet Tooth all from MFT. I used some MME Life of the Party paper, and used the MFT Western Star Border Duo Die-namics for my star border under the image. To finish, I used Michael's brads, Steel Grey Grosgrain, and a spiral clip.

Well, that is it for me for now! Have fun hopping!
