Naughty or Nice?

If you haven't already heard, we have started a new challenge blog, and I am SUPER excited to be a part of it...mostly because it's naughty, with a side of nice:) You can check us out on the Naughty or Nice blog, but for now, a bit about our challenge. 

So what do we mean by Naughty or Nice? Well, take a look at your sentiment stamps - are there any in your collection that are kind of "off-color" or a little bit racey? Pair them with a seemingly innocent image and BAM! You've succeeded in being naughty. But for those of you who cannot find a devilish stamp that fits the bill, no worries - you could be nice and post a card with our theme and you will be fulfilling our challenge parameters too!

With There She Goes closing, I really needed a place to get my snarky, naughty, slightly off color sentiments a place to hang out, and Naughty or Nice is the place!! This card was made with an image from the Shiver Me Timbers set, and paired with a sentiment from the Ship Happens set. Nothing says love like a little booty:)

I used Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious paper, along with Not Quite Navy and Jellybean Green cardstock. I used the MFT Heart Stax Die-namics, spiral clips, Michael's brads, Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and Smooth White cardstock for my base.

So, my card shows love for the booty, while also playing along in the Crazy 4 Challenge's challenge. This week's challenge is a color challenge, so be sure to check it out as well!

C4C210 It's Not All Black and White...

This week's challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog is to make a card using black, white, and one more color. I decided to go clean and simple, and since I was just NOT ready to let go of Halloween, I used a Halloween color scheme, but didn't end up making a Halloween card...I'm a connumdrum. I also did this for the TSG weekly challenge, to use leaves...hey, leaf dies count!!

So, for my card, I used the GORGEOUS Henna Swirls set from There She Goes, and paired it with a sentiment from the new Happy Fall set from There She Goes. My flowers were stamped on Smooth White cardstock, and then colored with Copics. I used some MME Happy Haunting paper, which I paired with Orange Fizz, and Black Licorice cardstock. My ribbon is MFT Orange Grosgrain, I used Michael's brads, and my leafy flourishes were cut from the MFT Leaf Filled Flourish Die-namics.

TSG228-You Electrify Me

Hey there, hope you are having an amazing day!! I am hanging out with my friend Jessica, owner of There She Goes clear stamps, and we have been working up a storm...but I decided to take a bit of a break and do some stamping. What better to stamp then to play along with this week's There She Goes challenge.

This week our challenge is brought to us by Jenny! She is challenging YOU to make a card or project using the colors pumpkin, aqua, and chocolate!!

I used the SUPER fun new Halloween Tags set, which I cut out and colored with my Copics. I stamped it in Early Espresso ink, and the lightening was stamped with Tangerine Tango ink. I used Smooth White, Hot Fudge, Orange Fizz, and Berrylicious cardstock from MFT. My buttons are also from MFT: Berrylicious, Orange Fizz, and Sweet Tooth, and I used hemp cord tied through them. To finish I added some Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and a Spiderweb Die-namics in Hot Fudge from MFT.

TSG221-Fur Friends

How this card came to be, well...it started three or four weeks ago. Somewhere between life and migraines I got distracted and forgot all about it...literally...forgot. all. about. it.

So, when I sat down to make a card for this week's challenge, I remembered I already had this card and did the dance of joy a la Balki Bartokomous. Don't judge me, that show was crazy funny.

Anywho, I used Float My Boat, and I just LOVE this image. I forget some of the stamps that I have, and now that I "in theory" have more time to stamp, I need to start using them more. I used several MFT Die-namics: Catch a Wave Border Die-namics, Circle Stax Die-namics, Open Scalloped Doily Duo Dieonamics. My paper is from MME, and I used some red twine and Michael's brads.

This year has seen many changes for me. The end of a relationship, broken hearts, job changes, and my entry back into the wonderful world of dating...you know you envy me. Don't try to deny it. 

SO, if I seem absent, cross your fingers and hope he's worth it or I am making a ton of money. ;)

Crazy 4 Words

Hey everyone, and happy Saturday!! It's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and this week's challenge is to use words as the main focus on your card. I also decided to play along with the Mojo Monday challenge again, so be sure to head to the Mojo Monday blog to see what that's all about!! There She Goes is also a sponsor for the celebration, so I decided to use one of their sets!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C193. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr. Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

I used the Simple Stories 24/7 paper pad, and paired it with the There She Goes set, Chalkboard Memories. I stamped my sentiment with Black Licorice ink, as well as Electric Red. I cut out just the apple from the Electric Red sentiment, and colored the banner in with my Copics. I used the MFT Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics, along with my Circle Stax Die-namics. The cardstock colors I used are Fossil, Black Licorice, and Electric Red. My buttons are Factory Green, Nightshift Blue, and Lemon Drop.

TSG214-CASE a Trendsetter

Hey everyone, and Happy Independence Day!! I have had this card made for days, and wound up getting a migraine... I hate them so much. I'm trying to quit caffeine, and even though it never did anything wrong to me, I am super dependent on it, and I don't like that missing a morning cup of coffee or tea can send me into a migraine, so I will suffer through until I break the addicition...let's just hope it doesn't take much longer! I quit drinking diet soda of all kinds three months ago, and I feel better for it...in fact, it eliminated a TON of my headaches, but this no caffeine thing...ouch. I'm not sure I am tough enough, LOL

Anywho, my card is for this week's CASE a Trendsetter post over at There She Goes. I chose Tobi's FABULOUS card from this past release, and used the SUPER fun new This Is My Life set. I changed the colors, papers, shapes, and added buttons instead of sequins. I kinda love it a lot...like, a lot a lot.

My ribbon is Sweet Tooth from MFT, and I used Michael's brads, Red Hot, Lemon Drop, and Sweet Tooth buttons for my embellishments. My sentiment is on a piece cut out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and the heart is popped up with Crystal Effects on it as well. For my sketch, I used this week's There She Goes challenge. :)

I went really simple with this card, mostly because I have insomnia and have slept less than 10 hours in four days, and also because the main image is SO gorgeous! Happy Birthday Bestie!!

Today is one of my most favorite people's birthday, and we are celebrating her birthday with a little blog hop!! 

If you don't already know her, and you haven't been hopping, it's Jessica Knutsen's, owner of There She Goes Clear Stamps, birthday. Her birthday always falls during release week, but we didn't want her to think we forgot her, so we interrupt this regularly scheduled program to say Happy Birthday to one of my bestest friends! I love you so much, and can't imagine what my world would be like without you in it!

I made this card for Jessica using the SUPER cute new Amalia Ballerina. I wanted to use her during the peeks, but decided today was the PERFECT day to show her off! I paired her with the Sentimental Birthday's set, some MME Oliver paper, and Nightshift Blue, Smooth White, Berrylicious, and Banana Split cardstock. I finished it up by embellishing her with some Nightshift Blue grosgrain, a Nightshift Blue, Berrylicious, and Sweet Tooth button with hemp through them, and some Michael's brads.

For my card today, I paired the SUPER cute new Gloria set, part of our Sock Goblin line, with some older MME Mabel paper. I used a Smooth White cardstock base, then layered my MME paper with Orange Fizz and more Smooth White from My Favorite Things. I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my sentiment, which I embellished with an Orange Fizz button and Hemp Cord. The ribbon on my card is Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and I used some Michael's brads to embellish. Gloria was colored on X-Press it blending card, then cute her out with my Circle Stax Die-namics. For her layer, I used the Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics in Orange Fizz.

Amalia/Poppy Blog Hop Challenge

Here we are, on the second night of peeks for this month's release, and we have two new sets for you from Megan Suarez.

This month we have two new sets from Megan Suarez: Amalia Ballerina and Poppy. I just LOVE Megan’s style, and we hope you do too! Amalia is the sweetest dancer, and Poppy is the newest of our Spice Girls.

For my project today, I made a card using the new Poppy set. She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I used Bazzill Taffy, MFT Sweet Tooth, and MFT Tangy Orange cardstock to design my card. My paper is from an MME Tangerine paper pad, and I  embellished with Kraft grosgrain, Michael's brads, and a spiral clip.
