How do you know when you are addicted......when you have less than 2 hours to
be fully ready, with hair and all, for a wedding and you are STILL stamping!!! I think I need SA(stampers annonymous)!!! This card started out as Beate's weekend sketch challege, but then I added the sentiment panel, so I don't know if it will work. I used today's inspiration challenge too, which was some gorgeous fabric. I automatically thought of my Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack from DCWV because of the soft colors and the pretty patterns. I have a friend having a baby in May, so this will be for her. I didn't do anything special on it, and since I am in a hurry, I will leave it at that!! Don't forget to sign up for my blog candy, today is the last day!!Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!! I will be back later to add all my links!!
stamps-Pun Fun
ink- Basic Black
paper- Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, and DCWV
tools-eyelets, markers, pink organdy, celery gingham, circle punches, word window punch, glitter pen, aquapainter
This card is GREAT! Hope you made the wedding on time and had fun. Thanks for the inspiration.

WOWEEE! Another amazing masterpiece! Love the circle of colour under the sentiment! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card! Love the double grossgrain ribbon up top for an accent. Great colours too.
ReplyDeleteHope you were able to get yourself ready in time for the wedding :) Your story reminded me of my mom who is always hemming or altering an outfit up to minutes before she and dad would go on a trip. Used to drive my dad nuts!
Okay, you really are addicted! Oh, wait--aren't we all?
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Jessie! Beautiful job!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, this is adorable. I love the colours. Joan
ReplyDeleteMy favorite blog hopping card of the day!! :)
ReplyDeleteTHAT IS SO FUNNY! That is exactly what happened to me to day, doing the What you Got challenge, some how I got myself and my daughter ready in 30 minutes, once my card was done. You can see it here:

Thanks for making me laugh, it is nice to know we are not alone in our addiction!
Ah yes, someone does need to start a SA group...you know we'd need a big room cause the line would be out the door as far as sign ups - LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and love what you did with the doulbe challenges!
yea, you got it bad, girl! but don't we all?!?! LOVE your hippo card, too sweet & I bet your friend will adore it
ReplyDeleteawwww! now I know why my DD left her new 'Pun Fun' set here at my place: so that I can case this fab fun card!! such cuteeeeeeee hippo...and I loooove the soft d/p colors...what is that tecnique called Jessie? (the four 'panelled' squares I mean) Is there a name for it?? I recently did a card w 'four square' d/p and called it 'panelling'..but I'm sure that's not the proper name...(duh!)
ReplyDeleteAnyways...I was interrupted by a wonderful surprise phone call...
wondering if your ears were burning?? (I talked a lot about U and your awesome creativity!! *smile*)

I just learned about your blog from my wonderful friend Paola. Little did I know that the person she was telling me about was the same person whose creations I have been admiring on SCS for quite some time now. You are amazingly talented!!! I receive so much inspiration from you:O)
ReplyDeleteI hope the remainder of your weekend is spectacular. I enjoyed reading your message and seeing another beautiful creation. By the way...I am in need of SA too.

Your card has made me love Hippos! It's such a cutie and you did a beautiful job at coloring him, even if you were in a hurry! Guess I'll have to get out my DCWV paper pad; I haven't touched mine yet but your card is urging me to. Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is just too cute! I love it!
