This card started out as Beate's weekend sketch challege, but then I added the sentiment panel, so I don't know if it will work. I used today's inspiration challenge too, which was some gorgeous fabric. I automatically thought of my Nana's Nursery Baby Girl stack from DCWV because of the soft colors and the pretty patterns. I have a friend having a baby in May, so this will be for her. I didn't do anything special on it, and since I am in a hurry, I will leave it at that!! ReplyDeleteHope you were able to get yourself ready in time for the wedding :) Your story reminded me of my mom who is always hemming or altering an outfit up to minutes before she and dad would go on a trip. Used to drive my dad nuts!

ReplyDeleteawwww! now I know why my DD left her new 'Pun Fun' set here at my place: so that I can case this fab fun card!! such cuteeeeeeee hippo...and I loooove the soft d/p colors...what is that tecnique called Jessie? (the four 'panelled' squares I mean) Is there a name for it?? I recently did a card w 'four square' d/p and called it 'panelling'..but I'm sure that's not the proper name...(duh!)
