I had an order for a card using this stamp, so I decided to make it and the challenge word together, right? I stamped my Priya stamp on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored ehr with Copics. I used some MME paper to paper piece her dress, and more on the base of the card. My flower is the Layered Rose Die-namics, and I used the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics for my twine. My ribbon is Black Licorice, and I used Michael's brads and a spiral clip.

Crazy 4 Words

Hey everyone, and happy Saturday!! It's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and this week's challenge is to use words as the main focus on your card. I also decided to play along with the Mojo Monday challenge again, so be sure to head to the Mojo Monday blog to see what that's all about!! There She Goes is also a sponsor for the celebration, so I decided to use one of their sets!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C193. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr. Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

I used the Simple Stories 24/7 paper pad, and paired it with the There She Goes set, Chalkboard Memories. I stamped my sentiment with Black Licorice ink, as well as Electric Red. I cut out just the apple from the Electric Red sentiment, and colored the banner in with my Copics. I used the MFT Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics, along with my Circle Stax Die-namics. The cardstock colors I used are Fossil, Black Licorice, and Electric Red. My buttons are Factory Green, Nightshift Blue, and Lemon Drop.

Mojo Monday 300- A Celebration!

This week, Julee at Mojo Monday sketches is celebrating her 300th sketch, and both the companies I work are sponsoring!! Today, I have a SUPER fun card made using the Kraftin' Kimmie Mary Poppins set...which I love, love, love!!

She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, then colored with Copics. I cut her out so that her umbrella was sticking out, using the out of the box technique! My paper is from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper pad. I used the MFT Fishtail Flags Die-namics, along with the Circle Stax Die-namics. My Ribbon is Steel Grey grosgrain from MFT, and I used Michael's brads. For my cardstock colors I used Steel Grey, Smooth White, Bubblegum, and Banana Split(Bazzil).

TSG214-CASE a Trendsetter

Hey everyone, and Happy Independence Day!! I have had this card made for days, and wound up getting a migraine... I hate them so much. I'm trying to quit caffeine, and even though it never did anything wrong to me, I am super dependent on it, and I don't like that missing a morning cup of coffee or tea can send me into a migraine, so I will suffer through until I break the addicition...let's just hope it doesn't take much longer! I quit drinking diet soda of all kinds three months ago, and I feel better for it...in fact, it eliminated a TON of my headaches, but this no caffeine thing...ouch. I'm not sure I am tough enough, LOL

Anywho, my card is for this week's CASE a Trendsetter post over at There She Goes. I chose Tobi's FABULOUS card from this past release, and used the SUPER fun new This Is My Life set. I changed the colors, papers, shapes, and added buttons instead of sequins. I kinda love it a lot...like, a lot a lot.

For my card today, I used the new Carnival Fun set, paired with some Hello Summer Echo Park paper. My cardstock is smooth White, Sour Apple, and Bubblegum. I used Sweet Tooth Grosgrain for my ribbon, Michael's brads, and my background was cut out using one of the Stax Die-namics from My Favorite Things.

PANDAmonium Blog Hop Challenge

Our final day of peeks has finally arrived, and today we have a new set from Melyssa!! We know you love her animals as much as we do, and this month's set is just...well, it's just CUTE!! My card with this month's PANDAmonium started with me coloring my panda on X-Press It blending card, adding grass and some Crystal Effects to his nose, and then cutting him out with my Circle Stax Die-namics. He was then layered using the Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics in Red Hot. My paper is from the MME Quite Contrary paper pad, and I used Banana Split and Smooth White cardstock as well. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth from MFT, and I used Michael's brads, Red Hot, Lemon Drop, and Sweet Tooth buttons for my embellishments. My sentiment is on a piece cut out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and the heart is popped up with Crystal Effects on it as well. For my sketch, I used this week's There She Goes challenge. :)

No seriously though, I couldn't love this line of stamps more if I tried....it reminds me of children's book illustrations(think Olivia), and makes my kid heart happy. For today, I paired Hadley with the MME Boy Crazy paper pad, and paired it with Baja Breeze(SU), Orange Fizz(MFT), and Banana Split(Bazzill) cardstock. My card base is Smooth White from MFT, and I used some Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and an Orange Fizz button from there as well. My brads are from Michael's. The sketch I used is this week's Deconstructed Sketch.

My heart was cut out with the Heart Stax Die-namics, and I used three different buttons from MFT and some Michael's brads. The ribbon I used is Orange Fizz grosgrain from MFT.

KKS184- Shaped Cards

Sorry friends, but I have been on a bit of a blogging/stamping break. I had the wind taken out of my sails a bit, but I am back, maybe not as often as I used to be, but back none the less! 

Since it is Saturday, it is time for another Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge!! This week our hostess is TRACY!!   And her challenge is SHAPED CARDS!!   So create a card with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features a shape for the base OTHER THAN a square!   Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!! 

For my card today, I used the Jumbo Cloud Stax Die-namics from MFT to create my card base. I used Smooth White cardstock from MFT. I stamped my super cute Lexi image from the Fairy Friends set on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with Copics. On her wings, I used the Sakura Glitter pen to make them sparkly. She was then cut out, and added to my base using dimensionals. I decided to use the Fancy Flourish Die-namics to create a whimsical trail....you know, that fairy's leave behind(oh hush). It was cut out with Bubblegum cardstock. My butterflies are from the MFT Butterflies Die-namics, and were cut out with Blu Raspberry cardstock. I added some brads to make it more fun. To finish, I added my sentiment using the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

I used Hot Fudge Grosgrain, a Bubblegum button, some hemp twine, brads, and a spiral clip to embellish my card.
