Crazy 4 Challenges- Twine

Hey everyone, and Happy Saturday! It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge and being the third week of the month, it is time for our sponsored challenge. This week, our sponsor is Lil' Inker Designs, who is offering you a set of your choice for this week's prize.

This weeks challenge is an easy one!! All you have to do is add twine, floss, string, etc... to your card or project!!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C92. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card tonight, I used the Pinwheel Die and Stamps from Lil' Inker. It is SO CUTE and SUPER easy to use!! I cut my pinwheel out of My Mind's Eye Stella& Rose Gertie paper. I paired it with Banana Split, Taken With Teal and Rose Red. I used Michael's brads and MFT ribbon and twine. My sketch is this month's Sketch For You To Try.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to check out the other Crazies to see what they have been up to!

FSF24....Where Have I Been...

Last week...well, I must have been half asleep when I posted my card, but I TOTALLY forgot to make it a forgotten stamp Friday post...and I KNOW it was, LOL!! What a dork, right? I kill me...

Let's try it this week and see if we can get it right, ok? LOL!!

Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my uninked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been uninked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword...FSF24.

For my card today, I used the super cute Jolinne-With Sprinkles on Top set from My Favorite Things. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I paired it with Hot Fudge, Pink Lemonade, and Sour Apple card stock. My paper is from the MME Lime Twist Life of the Party pack. My ribbon and Cappuccino Twine is from MFT, brads are from Michael's, and my spiral clips are from Creative Express. I used the new First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment, and the Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics for my circle. My sketch is this past week's Sweet Sunday sketch...CUTE!!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and then added a strip of scallops using the Simply Scalloped Large Dienamics.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!

Mojo195- I'd Rather Be Stamping...

I don't know why I NEEDED to use this stamp set all of a sudden, but it is one of my FAVES from There She Goes, and I hadn't used it in AGES...so I just couldn't stop myself!

My image is from the SUPER CUTE Loads of Fun set, from There She Goes. It is a laundry related stamp set, and I know it makes me sick...but I LOVE doing laundry. Something about it all being clean and tidy....love it. I stamped the image on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics. It was then layered with Sno Cone, Sour Apple, and Orange Fizz cardstock. My paper is from the MME Lime Twist Fly a Kite pack. I used Maraschino Twine, Honeydew twine, a mixture of old SU and MFT buttons, and some Michael's brads. My sentiment was cut out with one of the pieces from the MFT First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. I followed this week's Mojo Monday sketch, as well.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

For my card tonight, I used the new Clearly Sentimental about Friendship set. I stamped it on a piece of GP White card stock. I used the Simply Scalloped Large Die-namics for my scalloped layer, and I used the Dainty Doily Die-namic for my circle panel. The doily was cut out of MME Lime Twist. My ribbon and twine are both from MFT. I also used the Butterflies Die-namics....love it!!

Dream....and Some Challenges

I finally convinced myself that I HAD to stamp, so I did what I always do when I feel sort of blocked...I found a sketch!! This week's Mojo Monday sketch was super easy, and fun, and allowed for a small image panel, so that worked for me, since I have TORTURED my right hand at work this week(think bone bruising, burning, and carpal tunnels). I hadn't played in this week's There She Goes challenge, either, so I decided to play in that, too.

This week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week- Angela! She has challenged us to make a card for a lifetime milestone like a special birthday, a wedding, graduation, birth, etc.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a milestone card/project, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (June 13th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG110 so we can check out your beautiful work!

I started by using the SUPER CUTE Polka Dot Pals set, designed by our AMAZING illustrator, Torico. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending card. It was then colored with Copics, and layered with MFT Sno Cone, and Blue Raspberry, and SU Rich Razzleberry. My ribbons are both MFT(discontinued), and my brads are from Michael's. I used the MFT Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics to make my scallops. The paper I used is from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky collection.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

MFTWSC23-You Add....

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, technically, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things. I LOVE that we have went to an all sketch format, and I know I say that A LOT, but I really really do!! Enough of all that, on to my card!!

For my card tonight, I used the SUPER CUTE new Pure Innocence- My Little Firecracker set. I stamped my girl on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I then layered her with Fossil cardstock. I used the Stacking Stars Die-namics to add a star to my sparkler and to my card....I know, I know, but at her age, I was SCARED TO DEATH of sparklers...if they had looked more like fairy wands, I might have been ok, lol! I so desperately wanted to write my name in the air with one, but alas, I cried when they tried to make me hold them. Such a wienie, I was, lol. My other card stock colors are Sno Cone, and Wild Cherry. I used the new Simply Scalloped Large Die-namics, and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. My ribbon is from SU, brads from Michael's, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. I used one of my favorite paper packs, Lilybee Designs This& That.

For the inside, I used the rest of my sentiment from the front, that I cut apart. I used more of the pretty paper, and the same scallops from the front of my card.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have great day! Head on over to Kim's blog to see a list of the other designers participating today, and to the MFT forum on SCS for more details as well!!
