Teasers, Day Three!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to night three of this months My Favorite Things teasers!! Tonight, we are showing you two sets: Clearly Sentimental about Romance, and Pearls of Wisdom.

Here are the details about the upcoming release on January 3rd at 10 PM EST:

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my sentiment from the Pearls of Wisdom on a piece of Sweet Tooth cardstock, cut out with the Oval Decorative Doily Duo Die-namics. I stamped it with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink. I added three silver brads from Michael's, as well. My paper is from the MME Honey Cake pad. I layered it with Hot Fudge card stock, my border was cut out with the Jumbo Monarch Border Die-namics. My ribbon is Walnut Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel. For a finishing touch, I used the Scalloped Rolled Flower Die-namics, and made three flowers with my card stock colors: Hot Fudge, Baja Breeze, and Tangy Orange.



For the inside, I used a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Romance set. I thought it went VERY well with my other sentiment. I also used another border, and more of the yummy paper.

    Love the pop of color in your rolled flowers and the little ends of the monarch die peeking out is so fabulous! Love this, Jessie!

    HOW do you come up with your color combo's Jessie??? soft blu, brown and ORANGE??? WHAT???? LOL it's AWESOME though that is FOR SURE!!!!!

    and WHY do your sentiments all skinny stamped across a big opening not look like they are lost? It's perfectly anchored in there... I think I'll climb inside your brain for a few days and steal some crafty brain waves!

    Jessie - this is outstanding. My favorite is how you used the monarch border but only used the circular "points". They look like amazing jumbo polka-dots! LOVEEEEEEEE!
