Back in August, I made this altered clipboard for the There She Goes Anything But a Card Friday post, but I have never put it on my blog. Since my insomnia is running pretty strong right now, and I am unable to sleep enough to make my brain work properly(or at least it FEELS that way, lol), I decided to go ahead and post it today. :)
For my Anything But a Card Friday post, I altered a small clipboard that I purchased at Office Depot. I covered the base with paper from the MME Union Square paper pad. I used Scor Tape to adhere it, and then sanded the edges. My ribbon is Black Licorice Grosgrain from MFT. For my saying, which is what I call my stamp room(it's in the basement, although, if we are friends on Facebook, you know that I now call it the spidercave...ewwww), was made using American Crafts Thickers. I stamped my image and sentiment from the Every Child set on X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I layered her with Black Licorice cardstock, and added some brads, and a spiral clip with Sweet Tooth and Wild Cherry ribbon on it.
Well, that is it for me for now! Have a great day!
I love this idea fabulous clip board. Love the image you have coloured her beautifully and I love how you have decorated it. Caroline xxx
ReplyDeleteI just had to share that we apparantly have the same name for our stamp room.....THE STAMP CAVE....mine was actually named by Dawn Lusk a few years back when she came to visit and saw my basement workshop which has no windows or natural light....
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable and a cute idea. Love the colors and papers. Great sentiment.
