This week our challenge, over at There She Goes, is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week - Karen! She is challenging us to use fabric on our cards and projects. There are so many fun ways to incorporate fabric on cards and we can't wait to see all of the things you crafty peeps come up with!
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that incorporates fabric, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (July 18). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
Over the weekend, I looked at this week's challenge and decided not to play. I just moved, and all types of fabric I MIGHT have had, are in storage, so I didn't feel equipped to play along.....then it happened. I found some clothes that were going to be put in my rummage sale...and I KNEW this particular skirt had a rip in it, so I decided to cut it up and use it so I could play along. I started by stamping my image from The Fairy Best on X-Press It Blending card, and then I colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Grape Jelly, Orange Fizz, and Blue Raspberry. My paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Delovely collection. I used Caribbean Twine, and a Basic Grey button. My brads are from Michael's.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
