Hey everyone!! I wanted to make a quick card this morning...and something went terribly wrong, LOL!! I love the new, A Drink A Day set from There She Goes....but this card isn't speaking to me. Except for the umbrella drink part, LOL!!
I think it may be because I am tired, or the fact that I screwed up and put too many holes at the bottom for brads...but MEH!!! What can you do, right? I am super tired, and going to be late for work, so I guess the only thing I need to say is that I used one of Mercy's sketches from a few weeks ago......yep, that's it!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

TSG61 Going Green
Hey everyone, I told you last night I would be back with another one of my creations from this weekend....so here I am!! Today's card was made for this week's There She Goes challenge hosted by Danielle!! Here are the details....
This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Danielle! She is really into gardening this year, so she is issuing a TWO-STEP challenge for us! We must incorporate the COLOR GREEN and some type of PLANT (flowers, trees, topiaries, leaves, etc) on our creations this week. You can use other colors on your card/ project as well, but you MUST use GREEN somewhere on your card.
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses GREEN and a PLANT, then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (July 5th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG61 so we can check out your beautiful work!
For my card, I used the new Art is the Window set that was just released. I also used a previous Sketch For You To Try. I LOVE the cute little bird with this set!! So fun!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Hoot! Hoot! Hurray!!
I don't have anything recent to show you, but I didn't want to NOT post today, so I decided to show you another card that I made when I was a part of the Dirty Dozen. It is one that was made for the February '09 gallery. Here is a link to the info about that gallery, and what it's theme was!!
Since the theme was art, I decided to use my SUPER CUTE, Stephanie Fizer set, An Owl For All Seasons. I also used My Favorite Thing's Summer paper pack and ribbon. I saw this card in my folder and fell in love with it all over again...I love it when that happens!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Hope you enjoyed my new/old creation!! Have a great day!!

I know I said it the other day, but man am I behind on all the sketches I want to do!! I have a PILE of them printed out, and realistically will never get to all of them, but it is nice having them there when I need inspiration. Today, I have used a Mojo sketch from back in May, but I LOVE it!!

I added some grass to the bottom with my Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass die, and some MFT felt. I also used the Die-namics Cloud Die with some more felt.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Oh, Alice!!!
Hey everyone!! Hope you are having a wonderful day!! Today is my Friday, and I am THRILLED!! I got off work at two, and don't have to be back until Saturday.....yaaaaay me!!! For those of you that are friends with me on Facebook, you will know that my Dad had surgery this past Friday. His surgery was pretty major, but everything went AMAZING and he is recovering slowly but surely!! The best part, he has now quit smoking...well, it has been a week since he has smoked, but that is the longest he has went without smoking in 46yrs. I am SO PROUD!!
Enough of my babble!! Today's card is one I made for the Oh Alice! Blog Challenge posted last Saturday. This week's challenge is being sponsored by My Favorite Things!! I wanted to stamp then, but I was too stressed about his surgery!! The good part is, if you didn't know about the challenge yet, you still have until the 18th to enter(follow the links to the challenge blog for more details). I also decided to use the CPS sketch from this past week, also sponsored by MFT. To create my scallops, I used my YUMMY Jumbo Scalloped Scallops Die-namic from MFT......LOVE IT!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Hope this post finds you all well, and you have a great day!!

ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

For the inside, I stamped a row of plants, and used a sentiment from the Green Thumb freebie set being sent along with your VIP package...cause I KNOW you are going to buy it!!
Well, that is enough of my blabbering...onto the next stop, which is the FABULOUS Joanne!!!! Prepare to be WOWed!!

I decided to make an outdoor scene with my girl, so I drew in her stone patio, and the siding on her house using my Copic multi liner pen. I can only remember living in one house that DIDN'T have siding, so it just seemed appropriate. I also used a Sweet Sunday Sketch from a last Sunday...it worked PERFECTLY with this image.
Prepare to be WOWed!!
stamps: Who's That Gardening Girl? and Green Thumb
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
paper: Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Gina K. White, Hawaiian Papaya DSP, and MFT Perfect Panel
accessories: SU white grosgrain, Copics, SU ribbons, Chocolate Kiss button, spiral clip, Copic Multiliner.

MTSC74- A Little Late
I love sketch challenges, so when I see a sketch I love, I save the picture to my computer, then print it out to use later. I NEVER get to use all of them when I want, so sometimes I get behind....like this one!! This sketch is one of Mercy's from WEEK'S ago, but I LOVE it!!
I used it to make one of my sample card's for my Wednesday Trends post on the There She Goes blog. My trend, was cork. I am seeing cork EVERYWHERE, and LOVING it!! I used it to create my background panel....kind of gives it a wood feel, don't ya think? My sentiment, and cute little hammer, are from the new Dadisms set. The sentiment that goes with this one is LOL hilarious.....you REALLY need to check it out!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Dollar Find Friday
Hey everyone!! I'm here with this week's Dollar Find Friday post, also featured on the There She Goes Blog. My dollar find was in the $1 bins at my "not so" local, Joann's. It was this cute little address book, that I decided to make cuter.
I started by removing both the front and back cover. I then covered them with black card stock, then layered that with red and some Rockabilly DP from SU.
I then stamped the sentiment from the Dance set, and layered it with red. My flowers and leaves were stamped separately, then colored with Copics, cut out, and added on. I did add brads to the center of my flowers....for some reason, they just needed them
And there you have it, my altered address book!! Here is a tip for all of you out there....when adding your card stock layer to the front, be sure to use a strong adhesive. JUST DON'T put it where you are going to have to punch holes...what a mess!! Don't ask me how I know....
Thanks for stopping by!! Hope you enjoyed!!
