I haven't received my kit yet, but I can't WAIT!! Until then, I decided to use my By the Sea set. It coordinates PERFECTLY with the new kit, and gives you MANY more options!! Isn't that
SWEET!!
For my card I used this week's SCS Color Challenge. It was Apricot Appeal, Creamy Caramel, and Tempting Turquoise which I thought would work PERFECT for a beachy scene!! I started by stamping my main images, and added some small birds in the corner. The hat was stamped separately and then cut out and added later. I used an MFT Perfect Panel and memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored my scene with Copics. I added some SU brads and SU ribbons. The hemp is also from SU, and the Spiral Clip is from Creative Express. The sentiment was punched out with my SU circle punches. I did a bunch of piercing, and it was done!!
Be sure to get your kit while they are still available!! Trust me, you won't want to miss out!!
Also, today is Wednesday, so there is a new tutorial posted over in the How'd They Do That forum! Kathy has done some AWESOME stuff with Fabric and the digi papers that you won't want to miss out on either!
Well, that is it for me now!! You better get to shopping!! Have a great day!!
