I Know, I Know...

The other day my Dad came into my room and asked if I could make him a graduation card for my cousin Drew who is graduating from High School tonight. I of course said yes, but knew it wasn't going to be easy. I swear, for some reason I struggle so hard with Graduation cards. I usually feel forced to use the school colors and I NEVER have an image that will work. I have never cared much for any of the Grad. sets that SU has come out with, so I have never invested in one, and the only other set that I had that had any sort of grad themed stamps in it, I sold. So, I decided to do some searching last night and I came across a card using this super cute Digital Stamp from The Greeting Farm. I had promised myself NOT to buy any new stamps for awhile, but for three dollars, it was worth it!! I still stuck with the school colors, although I used Basic Grey instead of Black. I colored my image with my Copic markers, cut and embossed it with my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties, and layered it with Basic Grey. The DP is from the Walk In The Park DSP from SU. The sentiment is from one of the older All Year Cheer sets from SU as well. I added some Basic Grey taffeta, but I didn't do much else cause I didn't want it to get to girlie!!
