I stamped my flower from Both Way Blossoms and colored it in using my aqua painter and ink pads. I cut it and all the layers out with my rectangle Nestabilities. The sentiment is a rub on from the Love and Happiness set. I added some pink satin ribbon and a spiral clip with some black gingham on it and silver brads in all the corners. I am not in love with the new in colors yet, but hopefully I get there. To me, they are kind of a disappointment after the last two sets. Am I alone?Well, that is it for me for today!! I won't get to see the new in colors till my SU! club this Sunday, so I don't know if I love them yet---what I can tell you is that I LOVE this card you made! The double scalloped frame in front of the swiss dotted bg is gorgeous! Wish I could *play around* and come up with these results, lol! You are awesome! :) hugs, gf!

ReplyDeleteCan't comment on the colours - Australia has only just got the last colours (Wild Wasabi and co..), won't see the new ones until April! What I can say is that I LOVE your card!!! Love the choice of stamps, colouring, brads and swirl clip - it all comes together so very well!!

ReplyDeleteHey girl...I haven't seen the new in colors but they kind of remind me of PTI colors right? Spring Moss? Sweet Blush? Maybe they are different IRL. Anyways, the card is awesome! LOVE all your touches! TFS!

ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I am a little disappointed with the new colors as well. I think SU! must be running out of color ideas! Anyway, I hear that they grow on you. I have yet to experience that. Hopefully I do though because we are going to have them around for awhile! Haha! I do love how you used them though. They look much more appealing.
