This week’s challenge, over at the There She Goes blog, is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Ann! She wants us to create a card without any angles…only circles and/or ovals! Remember that your card base must also be either round or oval. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes circles and/or ovals, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Apr 11th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG101 so we can check out your beautiful work!
For my card, I started by cutting out my base using my Cuttlebug and large Scalloped Circle Nesties. I cut it out of SU's Ballet Blue, and then layered it with Orange Fizz from MFT, and some K&Co. Hopscotch paper. My images, from the newly released, Out of this World set, were stamped on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored with my Copics. I used the MFT Delicate Dots Border Die-namics, as well as some Michael's brads, Creative Express Spiral Clips, and SU ribbons.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out the list of other designers who have participated in this week's challenge!!
